From the submission text, my guess was NitroGenesis. I was close... kind of.

Was the game completed? Or did you get the best dog ever?
This is a simulation/"virtual pet" game, and I don't know if it has an ending. Instead, the run ends when the author successfully turns the character's dog against her, and she lays down to contemplate what she just did.

Okay, that was great. 2:41 in the encode was also quite humorous, like this was a modern shooter game.

Wow, that sounds like a ton of work! I'm glad you got through that part without losing motivation. Good detailed explanation too, it helped me understand the movie better.

Wow, that really was Crazy! It didn't stop being entertaining; in fact, I watched it over a second time. Looking forward to more progress!

Really liked watching you abuse the wall collision and height tricks to skip a bunch of each level. Yes vote!

That was pretty fun to figure out, you're 26.

The Radeon 5830 is this card, right? If so, I'll take it. Shall I PM you my address?

Ahahaha, I should have known this game could be broken pretty badly! Nice job using those stairlike low-poly walls to your advantage. Are you over halfway through the game now?

Good work Samsara. I thought Stage 2 was pretty entertaining this time around (being quite a bit faster). It looked like some back-and-forth dashing was used; if so, it didn't bother me as much this time.

hi samsara,i just meant that if the game's boring it's best to do all possible to speedup the gameplay, like using lag reduction techniques, but acceptance is not up to me,i just think if the game is boring it should be reduced as less as possible even if you have to play with the dying beep sounds of pokemon or something like that
????????
I believe grassini is suggesting that you reduce the final time by any means necessary with no tradeoffs. Whether it's the Stage 2 punching lag reduction or the dizzying back-and-forth dashing, he says use it all so the time spent watching a "boring" game will be "reduced as [much] as possible".

Great work so far, guys! Speed-rolling through all those spikes is quite surprising and humorous.

Looks good, and I like the new skip! Was the score countdown skip (after taking out the king) not possible on the first level of World 2?

Spyro 2 or Spyro 3?
I haven't played those two, but from what I remember reading and hearing from fans when the (awesome) TAS came out, Spyro 3 was a lot better than 2; the devs really went out with a bang for the original Spyro trilogy. EgixBacon might be able to give you a firsthand opinion, if he reads this topic.

Cool run with that glitch! I said "wow" several times and had to watch some parts over again (thanks for the encode). I believe you're about one-fifth done with the game, whenever you want to come back to it.

Good run, Malleo! I didn't think it would be too interesting without the OoB glitch but those doubles and triples and your commentary kept it fresh and entertaining. Yes vote!

Can I suggest something? Can somebody remove the category name of this sub and put a category name to the published run, like... "chest glitch" or something? It would make a bit more sense in my opinion.
Good idea, and I think that's likely what will happen when this gets published, as opposed to following the old "no x glitch" branch conventions.

The bounties page could become a "Games Ideas" list, and I am literally quoting the to-do article. Could a $0 bounty serve as a way to convert the bounty list into a bounty-plus-suggestion list?
We actually have an existing list of game suggestions, as well as a second list of SDA speedruns without a published TAS. Between the two, there are hundreds of games you can choose from, have at it!

Nice run, Random. This is a cool-looking game; I can see it being "the" game to have when it came out. Yes vote!

Good work on this! I had planned to improve the previous run after your bug post, but ended up becoming very busy, so thanks for picking up the slack. I appreciate the thanks as well!

I attempted to resync Randil's EDIT3 from the post at the top of this page on the Namco version using your starting input. The reason I tried was because his was the fastest from the frame the READY! text disappears (262) to the first flash of white after the level is finished, a total of 2051 frames (compared to your 2167 using this timing). However, the resync doesn't sync due to Randil's hitbox trick not working on the official Namco version, and possibly due to different ghost patterns since Pac-Man runs right into a ghost after missing some dots. I also tried resyncing the movie at the top of that post, with a similar result. I know you were trying to avoid this question, Spikestuff, but should we use the official game ROM, or the unofficial Tengen one with time-saving tricks?

Well, that was more entertaining than the last run...though that's not saying much for this game. The last stage looks pretty unfair, but I thought you did well making it more interesting with the stair glitch and palette inversion (any difference in the repetitive visuals is welcome for this game). The glitching made that otherwise hard-to-sit-through level pretty funny to watch. Like mklip2001 said, I'm not sure it's enough to bump it up to Moons, but good job anyway. Voting Meh.

I am happy to see another Kirby WIP! The new wallclip was great and unexpected, and Heavy Mole was done very fast! Only 2 worlds to go now.

Hey WarHippy, I was wondering if I'd see a run from you sometime. :) I'm also getting a desync though, in Eek Vs The Flying Saucers 1. Is it the Performance core that's desync-prone, or can this be easily fixed by changing a small section of the input?
