I'm getting this for 2/3 of the 512kb encode: EDIT: Downloadable encode looks perfect for me though.

Is the 512 supposed to be that glitched up?

well, it sickens me that again the prejudice of this male dominated forum must once again "reject" such an entertaining movie. i mean, sure, it's not seizure-inducing or anything, but this is not only entertaining but also a record. anyway.
Well, DarkKobold rejected it because it's a bad game choice. The movie is just...boring. I'm sure there are other MLP games that would look better TASed. I don't think the fact that a lot of TASers are males changes much. The recent Barbie game submission has gotten very positive feedback from a lot of members, some of whom voted no to this run for game choice (like me). Barbie is a girly game, but it makes for a good TAS.

Yeah, I doubt this would ever get published.

The previous MLP TAS wasn't really a joke, but it was indeed a horrible game, so it looked like a joke.
Ferret Warlord said he had no intention of getting it published, and he submitted it solely for our reactions. So yes, it was a joke.

Nicos, the DS Barbie run is not a joke:

I'll wait for an encode. Also, is Chu Chu Rocket the English name?

Thanks for the encode. Yeah, it doesn't look that exciting. The minigame looks similar to a Game and Watch game, where you just keep going until you lose or get bored (usually the latter happens first).

OK, just got this game and it is GREAT! Anyway, I can understand and appreciate all you've found so far with this game now, so keep going! I don't think 100% is worth it. There's all the minigames and backtracking for medals and 10 Kirby medals.

-I take back that infinite flick thing from my previous post, you can only flick one extra time after doing a wall jump, and you can't flick a second time midair after flicking into a ceiling. So already that means the first level has a lot of time wasting.
By "time wasting", do you mean riding the warp star? If that's the only way up there, it'll have to do.

My point exactly.

Voting No because you didn't exceed 14 hours. (I'm assuming it's hours, not days.)

Jesus I was joking! What a waste of time, bandwidth, computer resources, upload capacity, sanity, etc.
I'm sure it was a waste of all those things to make this input file too.

Thanks for the encode, Canar! OK, the run was very good and I enjoyed the "light glitches". It was fast-paced and made good use of every dress. Voting Yes. As others said, the mirror room is a creative idea on the designers' part. The closest thing I can compare it to are the mirrors in the Crystal Palace in Paper Mario.

Another TASVideos-exclusive one: Submitting a run then having to wait five whole minutes for the topic TASVideoAgent created to show up on the main page so more people will notice it. Not a big problem, but it's a little annoying.

MLP was pure bad game choice. I have nothing against pink or ponies or whatever. Watching a sprite move at a pixel per frame bores the crap out of me, even if the backgrounds are very pretty.
Yeah, this sounds like a good game choice, especially since most of it will be running and "light" glitching.

I watched the video in the topic you made for this game, but this TAS is apparently different than that one, so I'll wait for an encode of this TAS.

He wasn't talking about you. He was talking about the ones who started this "phenomenon" (as the Wiki puts it).

I'm not sure TASVideos should be one of those forums. This isn't the place for fads.

I think that if the judges get to control which line Grue says when he eats the submission, then judging by the humorous wording of his decision, I think DarkKobold chose that one especially for you pony fans.
