Oh. That's too bad. Does this mean he would have to start over to implement the changes?

This is so great. I don't have a favorite because I liked every battle! Yes vote!! Though, when this is published, will it be put in the GameCube category or Hacks/Demos/Other (because it starts from SRAM/memcard file)?

I tested the movie in VBA24-alpha svn392 and it syncs throughout! That means you can edit the movie every time you play the Ocarina and save those frames. I made a VBA24 savestate from right before you play the Ocarina the first time. I hope it helps.

There's actually a LOT of things from the old SpongeBob episodes in this game: Bubble Wand is from "Bubblestand" Plankton's line "I went to college" is from "Plankton!" The "Dude!" fish at the beach is from "Ripped Pants" Beach Bullies are from "MuscleBob BuffPants" Rock Bottom is from "Rock Bottom" The Carnival is from "Hooky" Ol' Reliable (upgraded Jellyfish Net) is from "Nature Pants" Mr. Krabs gives you the pizza from "Pizza Delivery" The Flying Dutchman is from "Scaredy Pants" SpongeBob's unicycle is from "Boating School" Hall Monitor uniform is from "Hall Monitor" Big Jellyfish is from "Jellyfishing" The Golden Spatula is from "Neptune's Spatula" The "Shing, Sparkle, Sparkle!" when you get the Golden Spatula is Plankton's line in "Plankton!" Bubble Bass is from "Pickles" Barg'n Mart (Serving all your spatula needs) is from the first episode, "Help Wanted" Poison Sea Urchins are from "Nature Pants" One of SpongeBob's standing animations is "Bring it Around Town!" from "Bubblestand" Another of SpongeBob's standing animations is "This makes me feel all wiggly!" from "Texas" The "Kandy" machine in Rock Bottom is from "Rock Bottom" Mrs. Puff's line "You can't make this easy, can you?" is from "Hall Monitor" Mermaidman is from "Mermaidman and Barnacleboy" Moon Man Catcher (upgraded Net Launcher) is from "Sandy's Rocket" Hydro Dynamic Spatula (upgraded Spatula) is from "Help Wanted" Like I said, a lot of references to characters or items that only appeared in one of the old episodes.

Depends on the exact one you mean. TinyPic broke my previous pic & replaced it with random black girl. Noticed this only today.
Yep, that's what I meant. That's pretty weird for an image hosting site to replace your picture with a random one. I've never seen that before.

Looks great! I'm excited to see Sherbet Land (and see if you could make that shortcut) when it's finished.

As far as I know there are some force-floor tricks that one can pull of in the original DOS version that don't work in the Windows version, in one level one could skip all the chips thanks to it.
Any other glitches that are in the DOS version that aren't in the Windows version?

Well, I tried sending this as a PM to Bhezt Rhy but for some reason it didn't send. I tried three days in a row. It must be another weird site bug. Anyway, I tried to save frames from 1-1 in the WIP you sent me and I couldn't, so good job on making it so optimized. EDIT: Bhezt Rhy, here is the new WIP. I started off Fish Hooks Park for you by pressing > at the earliest possible frame. I don't know what's wrong with the PM system this week, but I hope you don't mind me posting the WIP here.

It's just another kitchen implement like a spatula (he paraphrased the title: tale=legend, missing=lost).

The other spatula, Goo Tanker Ahoy!, doesn't require you to stop the slime either (you can just jump down onto it), so this means stopping the slime can be skipped altogether. Also, the OoB glitch stays active throughout the whole game as long as you don't die normally (going in OoB sand and being pulled away).

It's nothing to get too worked up about. If the No voter wasn't a troll, they would have posted clear reasons why they think this submission should not be published. Obviously they didn't post comments and don't have reasons for voting No, so that makes them a troll.

It says next-day shipping, not next-day arrival. That means they put it in the mail on the next day.
Well, I got an e-mail confirmation that it shipped very late on Wednesday, and then I received it when the mail came on Friday. I call that two-day shipping.

I know. I worried about the same thing when Mickey/VIS (an awesome SM64 TASer) closed his account too. But he made a new account. MUGG, if you need it for your records, here is Rene's Boss of Tricky Ruins run on MediaFire. It's in pretty bad quality since it was on my phone, but you can upload it somewhere if you want. Otherwise, my old (dead) computer should have a better quality version, which I can recover once I transfer my files over.

Is it these features that keep making the site go down for about an hour about three times a week? Or is it too much traffic to the site?

jezzball could be done on nds but its homebrew, so i dont know if it would be accepted and rct is too boring, you may build fast but then you have to wait...
I didn't know there was a homebrew Jezzball for DS. I'll try it out and maybe make a topic. Thanks! I thought RCT could be fast on triple speed. Plus, two other people suggested it so I figured they knew something I didn't...

he did WHAT??!!!
This was my immediate reaction too. For some reason, though, his brother's account is still open. What reason could he have for closing it?

So no mouse means no Jezzball, right? :( Other games in wishlist: Chip's Challenge (unless the DOS one is TASed instead) Jezzball (probably needs mouse) Rollercoaster Tycoon Any Mario fangames (ex: Mario Forever, Super Mario XP) Skifree (getting past the yeti :D) Rodent's Revenge

Is it possible to make a doorless encode?
I dont think this will be allowed for a publication
Not for the primary encode, but if there's demand for such a thing I'm sure someone will be willing to work on one as a secondary encode (in the spirit of, say, the Sonic Advance camhack encode).
Another example is this movie where the publication text has a link to an encode that has loading screens removed. Anyway, it looks like it took a lot of work to finish this, so good job! I agree that this version should obsolete the DS version (this one looks better and is the original). Yes vote.
