Amazing run! I like how the most attention was given to SMB3 since it was the longest, but three of the games finished at about the same time.

the only times there have been multiple Metroid games on one console was with Fusion and Zero Mission on the GBA, Prime and Prime 2 on the Gamecube, and (arguably) Prime 3 and Prime Trilogy on the Wii.
Don't forget Other M. Also, I don't suppose this would be possible for Kirby's Dream Land 1 and 2, but maybe Nightmare in Dreamland and Amazing Mirror, or Squeak Squad and Super Star Ultra.

Is it even possible to die in this game? You appear to have no life bar, but you take a ton of damage...
In this game, SpongeBob's hit points are represented by layers of clothing. (Come on, it's a kids game. They can't show him actually dying.) When he has his brown pants on, he has two hit points. If he takes damage, he will lose his pants and only have one hit point left. If he takes damage one more time, he will have nothing on and you will "die" and start the area over. There is no Game Over in this game; you can "die" over and over, but you'll keep restarting at the last checkpoint until you complete the area. There is also a "hall monitor uniform" which you can get to provide a third hit point, but it is too far out of the way to save any time. Also, I keep losing my second hit point (pants), but I pick those up occasionally so I can take damage again later in the run and avoid time-wasting death.

Thanks for posting those links, sonicpacker. I assume he's doing the any%. The Chapter 1 looks great and I really hope he TASes the whole game.

I suggest putting "rejected 'obstacle course' run" for San Francisco Rush 2049, since a TAS for that game was submitted (and rejected), but the graphics looked fine and it appeared to play at normal speed.

Is snark122 still working on this game? It's been months since he posted his Prologue TAS. I can't wait to see Chapter 1 if/when it's finished.

I'm almost certain running would make it faster. Voting No for suboptimal run.

OK, the FCEU movie syncs perfectly and I was able to watch it to the end of the game. I don't know why the converted FCEUX movie desyncs though. I tried converting the original movie in FCEUX 2.1.4a and that converted movie didn't sync either. I would suggest submitting the .fcm instead, since only that one syncs. Edit: Also, I think this run was entertaining enough and should be published.

I don't know how to convert it back. Do you have the original FCEU movie?

Voting No because Mario didn't actually die, and simply fell off the screen and teleported to the overworld.
