Man, that water room in 4-5 looked really smooth and optimized. It looks like you reduced a lot of lag in the room after it too. 4-6 was amazing! I watched it over and over and it doesn't get any less surprising.

I would like to see Minesweeper get TASed. Yeah, you would run Windows 3.x on a DOS emulator like JPC-RR.
You could do that, but the resulting movie would be labeled "DOS Minesweeper" in the submission and publication, which wouldn't be right. It's best to wait until either Hourglass supports Windows 3.x games or JPC-rr is accepted for Windows 3.x submissions (then it could be "Windows Minesweeper"). Unless you just want to TAS it for fun, of course.

How do I edit the submission text?
Go to the submission page, and on the right side of the page, you'll see the "Edit" link (the third one down). Good job on the run! There were a couple of times it started to get repetitive, but then Venus did a different attack or jumped to the other side of the screen and it became entertaining again. Overall...I think I'll go with Yes.

World 3 really does look tough! Is it possible to manipulate those stage hazards and enemies to appear at different times so they don't interrupt your movement?

I would say that this run contains more interactive gameplay than Super Adventure Rockman. Moving around the game world and touching triggers as early as possible takes up at least a sixth of this movie, and all those gameplay segments had to be optimized by the TASer (they don't happen automatically).

Thanks for the helpful information, Tangent. Funny and interesting glitch, c-square. Well done! Voting Yes.

I really liked the entertainment during the snow boss battle! The rest of the run was a good watch too. Good job, zoboner, voting Yes! Suggesting these two screenshots (35037 and 35097, respectively):

Hello AjAX. This article goes over the features of the RAM Search tool, and this one explains what memory/RAM addresses are and how to use RAM Search. Additionally, this is a short article on the features of the RAM Watch tool. Happy TASing!

I enjoyed watching this run. Even if a lot of it was the story, it was an interesting story and the game always looked really good visually. I expected the gameplay segments to look faster, but I understand there may be movement limitations for this type of game (to keep a more steady pace). I'm voting Yes.

I like the optimized punch-hopping! It looks even funnier when he's floating in the middle of the screen the whole time.

That looked great! I'm sure the improvement will look even cooler though.

Nice to hear you're doing a run of this game! You could try changing your input while taking the previous turn (or the one before that) or during a minigame. Test out all different things, like pausing, switching between your available Dice Blocks, and wasting frames on different screens. If the roll is randomly chosen, there should be a way to manipulate it.

I think this should be starred too. It really exemplifies the technical and entertainment value of a TAS.

While I can't speak for anyone else or their schedules, I intended to watch this run but didn't know the spring semester of college starting up again would make me so busy. I don't know much about Q*bert, but I could allot an hour of time every week to check over your WIPs and watch the improved run (and watch and rate this one), if you'd like.

Well...it's an improvement. I didn't find it entertaining, but I'm glad you took the time to optimize this short game anyway.

Absolutely amazing run of my favorite Paper Mario game! All the little tricks were very well applied and made for a really entertaining run. Great job once again, Malleo. Big yes vote! Also thanks to the BizHawk devs for fixing the flickering and allowing a watchable TAS of this game to be made!

I enjoyed the run for the first minute or two, but it started to get really repetitive after that. The music was hard to listen to, but it was bearable on low volume. I have to vote No on this, but I'm glad we're seeing WonderSwan/Color submissions now. (Should the system ID be WSC? It currently doesn't exist in the ID list but it would describe this game's system better.)

Well, that was certainly fast. The movement was clunky, but that's just how the game engine is. I like the use of deaths too. Voting Yes!

Nice! Do you plan on TASing more DOS games?
I'd like to, yeah.
How about Commander Keen: Episode 3? It's the last Keen game to be TASed, and the final time would be under two minutes. There's also Fallout 1, which would be longer but looks kind of fun to run and optimize.

Ahahaha, it looks just like the Kirby's Adventure clip! I wonder if it works the same way? It'll be nice to see the published run improved regardless.

Thanks for making this run. Always nice to see another GC TAS, and a new fighting game I hadn't heard of before. I hope you decide to make an improved run!

I'm not TASing them, I'm just playing them.
Then I recommend you test your games in endrift's mGBA. Like Anty-Lemon said, it aims to fix all bugs in GBA emulation. If the emulation issues are still there, please post your results here or through the bug reporting options on the site.

I've had that problem before, Dolphin crashing when a movie has Nunchuk data but yours isn't connected (and the reverse as well). Anytime you get a PlayWiimote error, I recommend checking the Nunchuk first.

Great to watch another exciting DTC unfold. Congratulations to all of the authors on making this solidly optimized run. Yes vote!
