I didn't find this very entertaining, but it's short enough that I can see how others might. Meh vote.

Good job finishing this! It was a nice watch, and much faster than the published run. Voting yes.

The current 120-star SM64 run takes 1:20 as well. Can't be a coincidence.
I believe both are just crazy coincidences. The SM64 run is extremely well-optimized and MrWint says this run's achieved in-game time wasn't planned either.

Looking good! By how much did you beat the last record for 1-2?

Aw, you beat me to it by an hour and a half, Spikestuff. My encode just finished uploading. And yours is better. Here's mine, in case anyone can't watch Spikestuff's for some reason. MrWint, this is the best run of Pokémon RBY I've ever seen. My amazement at the procedural brokenness of the glitches and route in this run can be compared to that at seeing Primorial#soup's run as one of my first TASes. I also loved the detailed submission text. Big yes vote!

Anyways... how its the encode going CoolKirby? I can't watch the movie on the emulator and it seems a really awesome run.
The run was done on BizHawk 1.5.3, which should open and run perfectly for you. It's worth trying out, at least. If it doesn't work, there might be a bigger problem with your computer.

I'm uploading an encode of this, though YouTube says it will take roughly 12 hours to finish uploading. I'll post here when it's done.
Dang lol. Still 100k frames of recording left for me. 12 hours though? did you use mp4 recording or avi?
I used an AVI, resized to 2x and encoded at ~2000 kbps with the Xvid MPEG-4 Codec. It would definitely be uploading faster if my Internet connection wasn't so slow. By the way, you can turbo through a movie (or increase emulation speed) in BizHawk and it will still dump the video perfectly. That should save you some time while encoding.

This is a nice little game. I liked how some of the game music was based on classic Disney songs like "I've Got No Strings on Me" and that one from The Sorcerer's Apprentice. The run had a good pace and a lot of neat small tricks. I especially liked the part when you skipped an entire stage. Yes vote!

Normally, I would suggest adding a branch name to one of them, but branches weren't made for a situation like this and don't quite work when there are major differences between the two games. I think we should go with Spikestuff's suggestion, to avoid making it look like there are two "trunk" runs of the same game. They really are two separate games, after all.

I didn't even notice that until you said something, but I am entertained by the fact that it defaults to feos on this page.

Yeah, using GameCube on wii games triple the desyncs chance :p (I think it's 3 lol)
Wow, I didn't know that! I'll have to remember that if I ever want to work on a Wii TAS. Anyway, looking forward to the continued run!

That was awesome! Nice use of the double dash and zombie hover, and all the entertainment you did during and after the boss was perfect! For hard-to-optimize parts like the horizontal section in this level, I recommend giving it a few good tries and then moving on with your best attempt. One annoying section isn't worth losing your motivation for the whole run.

This is the best-looking NES pirate game I've ever seen! The sound and gameplay aren't too bad either. Your WIP looks pretty good so far, except it appears it could be a little better optimized. Though, if it's anything like Somari, it could just be the game that moves clunkily.

I was unfortunately not very entertained by this run, but there's no reason it shouldn't be published. I'm going with Meh.

I found the problem! I had the Nunchuk plugged in by mistake. The movie plays without problems now and syncs for me with the free DSP ROMs and just the Wiimote. Also, it syncs for me whether the GameCube controller is enabled or not, so I don't think you have to worry about that.

Okay, I'll do that. What would you like to do with the differing columns between this page and your pages? Should we integrate "Forum thread" and "Also known as" into the N64 page and "Genre" into yours?

I get this error on VI (frame) 2 every time I try to play it back: And then the movie stops.

Why not split up the previous input display and current input display in Configure On Screen Messages so both can be user-configurable? That way, A7800 lightgun and N64 TASers could move the previous input display out of the way, both could be visible and we wouldn't have to lose any useful information.
