Thank you. I also just noticed the Report on recent flaming thread in this subforum (Sites). Since the flaming isn't recent anymore, should that one be unstickied too?

Wow! It sure does. Looks like some of the newer rejected submissions should be put on there too. The only problem is knowing which ones a lot of people would find interesting.
Post subject: "DS rerecording" thread still stickied?

This thread is still a sticky even though DeSmuME has been accepted for DS TASing for years now. It doesn't serve any purpose being at the top of the page. Should it be unstickied?

Oh, I see. I don't think it would have been accepted here anyway, since cheat codes that are used to skip parts of the game like that aren't considered valid here. It would have been great for seeing the skips optimized though.

I agree with Warepire, for the same reason.

I just want to say that I really like the publication screenshot and I love the publication text; great job to the person who wrote it (you know who you are).

(me and Ptorflaxendrosis where going to do an Any% glitched TAS with ingame codes but we stopped about 2 minutes in because we got annoyed).
What use do the ingame codes have for a speedrun? Do you mean you wanted to use the 1000 shiny objects code to eliminate money problems? And I'm guessing it was the optimization that annoyed you, right?

CoolKirby might do one someday?
That's a very good way of putting it.

I don't see why having Asperger's would stop you from running this game. If you put the effort into running and optimizing a game you love, what's to stop you from becoming a great TASer? It is a lot of work though, and you'll really have to know the mechanics if you're doing a game like Ocarina of Time, but I think you can do it if you have the patience and the humility to accept criticism on your runs. Oh, and this site doesn't discriminate. There are a few people here who have a form of autism, including Asperger's Syndrome, but they've been able to make some good TASes nonetheless. Welcome to the forums!

Don't forget Part 1: Link to video This is a cool-looking run though. Thanks for sharing this, Patashu.

Whenever I make an edit to a page (on the Wiki) and I check the IRC Notify box and not Minor Edit, whatever I write as my edit summary does not show up in the page's history (and is instead replaced by a blank). I assume this is a bug, since others have submitted "major" edits that show correctly, and minor edits have always shown up just fine. I know it's not my browser or computer, either, as I've seen this happen on Internet Explorer and Firefox on my Windows computer as well as Firefox on a Mac. This is the most recent page I've had this problem with. The edit summary would say "expanded description" if it was there.

Good idea! Done. I hope we can get some contributors to test and sort the PC games as well. The platform can be TASed, but it doesn't look like a lot of the games on the list can.

With MESHUGGAH's permission, I have moved the page to one with a better title. Also, as it was recently updated and completed, it is no longer a "shortened" list. Hopefully this list will fulfill its goal of providing a better list of ideas than the Wiki: ListOfIdeas.

So beautiful. I just love this TAS. I just hope the runner finishes it, but I really hope he/she submits it if and when it's finished.

Oh, never mind then. Looking forward to the finished run and submission text anyway.

Wow, I...can't think of a reason that should be possible. I suppose we'll have to wait for the submission text to learn why that happens. Definitely looking forward to the finished run!

Great work and great improvement, pirohiko! I also appreciated the YouTube encode with the "visualizer". Easy yes vote. I would pick either the first or second of Spikestuff's suggested screenshots. I'm leaning toward the first one, though.

I also enjoyed this. Despite the game being really bad and slow, I was entertained by the movie's story for the duration of the run. In fact, that's all I paid attention to during Double Jeopardy. I'll vote Yes, even though it isn't looking good for this run to be published.

Great route, itsPersonnal! I don't see a single possible improvement to the route (except for getting socks). Can't wait for you to start and finish this new any% run either, and I hope you end up submitting it to SDA when it's done. (It'll be a high-quality run for sure!)

I remember watching your WIP in this game's thread and it was just as good. Very fast-paced gameplay, good optimization, and interesting glitches. Great job! Definitely a Yes vote. Hope you'll be able to get back to MK64 soon too.

I agree with everything IMPblackbelt wrote. I kept watching Bowe's health bar to see when it might run all the way out. Though his meter was slowly whittled down over the course of the run, it was still satisfying to see him finally knocked out at the end. I also really enjoyed that glitch (and really thought he would stay down!). Overall, I think it's an entertaining run for its length and should be published to Moons. Yes vote.
