Never seen gameplay of this game before, but it's really laggy and the audio is really bad. How could they call this an improvement over the original game? April Fool's joke, of course it shouldn't be published.

I will never figure out why you only submit DKC any% improvements on April 1st. Yes vote though, nice improvement.

Mothrayas has it right. Pokemon Yellow manipulates memory to trick the game into scrolling the credits, while this one does nothing but show the credits roll on the main menu. They couldn't be more different.

If only this contained input and wasn't so trivial to produce, this could actually be published as the shortest any% run on the site. But it's sadly not impressive enough to be, since the game does it by itself. Oh, and no vote for the .02 second of no entertainment.

Well, I'm impressed. It's also interesting that the submission module supports infinity as a time.

Nice run, Odongdong. I loved the pearl (and pebble) bouncing and juggling. However, the gameplay seemed repetitive and the minigames hurt the pace of the run, so I'm voting No, but I think this should be published to the Vault for sure.

This is a really entertaining glitchfest, so I'm voting Yes. It's too bad it didn't finish the game though, or it really could be published.

I agree that this is a really good technical achievement, and should be published. Though, I didn't find it entertaining, so I'm voting No. Also, this game looks like a lot of fun. I'll have to try this one out.

I’ll refrain from voting before this is ascertained
You're only voting on whether or not you found it entertaining. Whether it's really an "ending" or not shouldn't influence your vote. I thought it was entertaining! So I voted Yes! And it was a great improvement too. Nice work, Masterjun and FractalFusion.

How to export a video out of a .dat file?
You mean, how to encode your run? Check the Dump Frames box under Graphics Settings>Advanced and the Dump Audio box in DSP Settings. The video and audio will be dumped separately; you'll have to combine them in another program.

There are some 100% saves available here. Just go to Tools > Wii Save Import and answer Yes to all prompts to import the save file.

Oops, added Genre: Platform.
Thanks, Ilari.

This movie needs at least one tag, for Genre. Currently, there are none, which is never supposed to happen. Could someone with the necessary privileges please add "Genre: Platform" as a tag for this publication (assuming that's the correct genre for this game; it should be the same as Bobby is Going Home)?

I ripped the game again (it's around 4GB; does that sound fishy or ok?) And it says it's running but I only get a black screen.
Your dump is incomplete. The ISO should be around 4.4 GB. You may have to format your flash drive in NTFS to be able to support >4GB files (worked for me with my copy). Then, when you dump the game again, make sure Chunk Size is set to Max (assuming you're using CleanRip).

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to put for graphics settings in the URL above because it tells me to go to wiki.dolphin-emu.org to check for KRtDL but obviously it's not there...
It's right here.

Also I downloaded dolphin from the link above, not the wiimote fix from this post... though it has options for using the wiimote so it should be fine?
You will want to use the latest development version of Dolphin 3.5 or possibly one of the old Wiimote-fix revisions. Any other revision will have constant desyncs.

Finally, is it a problem if my computer is 32-bit?
Not at all, as long as you're using a 32-bit revision (a 64-bit binary will not even run on your machine). Great to hear you're picking this up again! Good luck!

Is there a place I could download a binary of r144? I searched and searched for it. All the mirror links on EmuCR are dead too. I mean, if it was the last revision to support the Lynx core, and there was a published TAS on it, it shouldn't be this hard to find, right? If someone has it, could he or she please upload their binary (and the frontend, if it's a different version) to the Google Code page for anyone who wants to TAS a Lynx game on Windows? I would appreciate it.
