Q: You use the sewer route instead of the construction site, are you sure it’s faster?
A: Yes, it is at least 1500 frames faster; too many elevators to climb up and down, and lots of enemies on your way ready to shoot at you on the construction site route.
Sounds good, I had a good feeling it was slower, but wasn't sure if you had tested it or not. Good to know!
I think that in the first submission for this game, Dooty mentioned that although the sewer route is more out of the way than the construction site, you get to be "Hulked Out" for longer, and that makes up for it. Maybe he has more comments, though.
Alright, I had checked his previous submission and I couldn't find a reference to it. In his submission text he does talk about his choice between the hidden pill in the first sewer and the one on the roof of the building.
For those who may not know what I'm talking about, right around frame 3890 or 1:04 in the encode. Instead of jumping down the sewer at that point you can actually jump on to the beam above and proceed into another construction area. I'm not entirely sure if it's faster or not since it's more of a vertical climb so there wont be as much running.
