Ok, for the fast factor, I'll make the SD encode. I'll leave the HD one to mmarks.

Omni, you could have used my YouTube HD + Dailymotion SD streams, you know. I'm going to replace the YouTube and add the Dailymotion. Thanks for the Archive and the publication though!

I'm really loving the layout here. Don't know if that was your choice or if that's common for DS encodes (haven't seen many), but it works well for this game.
It was my choice, but I didn't invent this layout. I started to do it after I saw sgrunt's HD encode for [1398] DS Tetris DS by veup in 01:37.53. That's possibly the best way to make a DS video when we mainly focus on a single screen.

TheAxeMan, can you also explain why this movie appears to be 10 seconds slower than the previous movie but isn't? I noticed Mister Epic added a note about this to the publication, but when I asked about it, he didn't know the reason.
I remember. The reason is the movie file format. FCM, as we used before, has its duration calculated with 60 fps, while FM2, as we are currently using, has its duration calculated in 60.1 fps, which is the NES's frame rate.

I really should have added a Don't vote for yourself clause. Too late now, heh.
You can just cancel Toothache's vote and ask him to vote again.

Wow! Thanks! By the way, my future is more about working in the video game industry than video encoding. This is more like a pastime, like gaming. Ok now I'll vote. Arrrrg... I don't know if I want to vote for Flygon or Aktan... Both are really good encoders and both thaught me important stuff about encoding... Sorry Flygon, but I'll go with Aktan, but he won by a little bit. The only thing that made me choose him is the fact he thaught me complicated stuff such as encoding N64 and PSX.

Just the fact I saw the Kururin (if it's called like that) getting really, but REALLY, near obstacles and the records being destroyed makes me want to vote Yes.

I'll take care of the big HD encode, and the SD encode as well. I don't have much more time for such a thing, so, if anyone wants to encode in any definition, it's open. Ok ok my final answer is, an HD encode will be uploaded to my YouTube channel, but I won't be available to get the video link, so, anyone can grab it from my channel! I expect it to be available tomorrow. SD encoding is still open to anyone!

Welcome to TASVideos! If you're looking for a game to TAS, you can take a look at the list of ideas. You can also take a loot at the list of examples of bad game choices to make sure you don't pick a bad game idea!

Darkpsy, I'll give you the Archive.org link containing my encode once I'll have time, ok? Sorry Darkpsy, but I'll publish it myself. I've done the SD encode and I was waiting for the movie to be accepted before I upload to Archive. That what I'll do now. I'm doing that because it would be faster than sending you my encode.

SD encode is up. HD encode can be done by anyone since I decided to give up this one. And Happy New Year!

btw,is it possible in VLC to advance frames as it is in MPC?
Looking at the desktop version, I didn't see any frame advance feature. Same thing for the iPhone version.

I'll wait for your HD encode to be up before I publish it, if it gets accepted of course.

It's now possible, and without jailbreaking. We can now put our encoded MKVs and MP4s in our iDevice and watch them on the go. It's possible since VLC Media Player is made for that platform. It's still free! I've tried various MKV and MP4 files. Both types works absolutely fine, but there is an audio sync issue with deduped MP4s. Otherwise, everything runs at its native frame rate smoothly! But, VLC is not compatible with every iDevices. It won't work with the iPhone 3G and older (it requires at least 3GS) and with the two first iPod Touch generations (it requires at least the 3rd generation).

I've tested it, and it works. There's probably something wrong in your side, or you did something wrong.
