Uh... I don't get it. This movie desyncs for me right on the first course. I'm using the correct emulator, the correct ROM and I followed the playback instructions to the letter. (I don't even know why it's necessary to let the game run for a few seconds before loading the movie, but I did it anyway.) What am I doing wrong?

Ah, I didn't know it was possible to customize hotkeys. Cheers, moozooh! ^_^

Fantastic use of a Bullet Bill there. I can't wait until this run drops below 4:30. ^_^ EDIT: Hang on, I just realized something: how come the flagpole glitch wasn't used in 8-3? *hurries off to make an improved speed run*

I already tried Tab. In fact, I tried pressing ALL the keys I have, including holding down Shift as well. Nothing worked. Is there any other way to speed up the playback?

This is frustrating. Unless I'm mistaken, you're supposed to use the + and - keys to change the playback speed on movies, right? Well, it's not so easy if you happen to be using a swiss keyboard. The minus key works fine, but the plus key (Shift+1) doesn't speed up the playback, and the numpad plus key doesn't do anything. Is there any other way to speed up playback? It's excrutiating having to sit through lengthy dialogue sections.

Totally fun TAS wrecking your bike at the finish line, especially when you can still jump off the screen in the process. Ouch! XD

Um... a little help here please? I still haven't figured out why Snes9x keeps crashing.

I think there's something seriously wrong with this movie. Snes9x keeps crashing only moments after I start to play it. I used v1.43+ v9 and matched the settings in the submission, so why does the emulator crash when I play the movie?

I still can't help but wonder how video games would have turned out today if this had been the template instead of Super Mario Bros. o_O

Er... it desyncs for me in the second level of King's fortress. I thought that sort of shit doesn't happen any more with Snes 9x 1.43+ v9.

Even after twenty years, people are still discovering timesavers in this game. Mark my words, next year the bar will be lowered to 4:00. ^_~ BTW, I'm confused about something. This movie beat the previous one by only one second. Are you saying that that's all the time this new glitch has managed to shave off? I'd say this run would be slower one without the glitch.

I knew it! I knew it was possible to BLJ past Dire Dire Docks. Great run, Swordless Link & AKA! Now all we need is a zero keys run to truly 'own' SM64. ^_~
AKA (23:23:18): We can't theoretically improve the game anymore, apart from opening the door in the moat, which is impossible.
It was thought that a zero star run was impossible. Is this a sign of things to come...?

Er... this is a little strange. I think my copy of Goldeneye is broken. I've decided to pick up and play it again many years after dominating 00 Agent. So now I'm at the end of the the train level and Natalya needs time to complete objectives C and D. Naturally I shoot Xenia as well as Ouroumov, but for some strange reason this does NOT add an extra 20 seconds to the timer. (Yes, Xenia cries "Wait, Alec! I'm hit!") So by the time Natalya has completed objective D, there's only 2 seconds left on the timer and she's killed in the explosion, which makes it impossible to complete the mission. Is my copy of the game busted? :(

Wah ha ha! That's exactly how I would describe you in this run: a pinball with a gun. The high speed sharpshooting definitely made this one of the most entertaining runs I've seen on this site. I'm voting yes, but I would only have recommended a star if you addressed the aforementioned improvements and included the two secret levels.

Actually, I enjoyed Majora's Mask more than Ocarina of Time, and same for the TAS. Definitely yes !
Oh, thank God! I thought I was the only one who felt MM was the better game. Technical improvements aside, I find the puzzles more ingenious, the surreal environment to be more evocative, and the fact that there's more to do in between dungeons that distinguish it from the point-to-point Sage hunt of OoT. BTW, I'm still getting the same bleedin' "Error creating Direc3D device!" message here. Any help?

Uh, whenever I try to load the ROM with that video plugin, I get the following error message and Mupen crashes: "Error creating Direc3D device!" (Not a typo) What does that mean? PS. My video card is an Intel 82865G Graphics Controller. It can emulate ROMs smoothly. I made sure I have the latest DirectX and video drivers.

GAH! I still can't watch this movie because it uses the glideN64 plugin, which results in a black screen (however, the soud still plays) whenever I want to play back a movie. This also happens whenever I load another ROM when one is already running. Black screen! I don't get this problem with other video plugins, but glideN64 is the one used for the movie. What can I do?! EDIT: Scratch that. Now the playback configuration is telling me it uses Jabo's Direct3D6 plugin. Either I'm losing my mind or I changed the configuration somehow. Anyway, it works for now. Let's just hope it doesn't desync...

The hell? Every time I try to play this movie, snes9x freezes. This doesn't happen with any other movie. Is there something wrong with the file?

This may quite possibly be the best run posted on this site! Not only does it redefine "flawlessness" with unparalled action-packed connotations, it brings back those fragments of innocence like nothing else. That awe of life, those magical moments that grab you with such intensity, those experiences beyond words all materialize in full frutition with this run! It's like being given another chance to run free the playground of sensation when all was sensational. A great run all the way!
*points to mouth and makes a gagging sound* It's a good run, but let's not go overboard. :p

See where it says "Vote: Did you like watching this movie? (Vote after watching!)"? Just an FYI.
