There are also editors for gmv files. In case you didn't know that. :D

This run desynced for me when entering the water area. Using Super Metroid (J) with patch applied. What switches should be turned on besides WIP? edit: Tried with "Super Metroid (JU).smc" now and it desyncs in the same spot as the (J) version did. Its the second room of the water area. Samus doesn't seem to make the jump and get's stuck instead.

Ah. Strange seat you got there. The game is not completed faster, but your movie is stopped faster. And yeah, that was the place I was referring to. :D

This might seem a bit off-topic but does anyone know of any (or any good) FF6 hacks / remakes?

Another yes from me! Nice played. Allthough. Ain't it quicker to throw two shurikens instead of the ninja magic?

I'd watch anything that is faster than the run on www.speeddemosarchive.com If it beats that time, I think it's publishable here. Even though it can be improved. Problem with this run is that it will draw so much attention and imputs, which eventually will force the creator to re-start and re-make every single frame that someone feel is errornous. :D I beleive Jyzero felt somewhat like that, allthough he was extreamly good at what he was making, and had the ambition etc.. Someone who is doing this run must be extreamly patient. I beleive that this game will be one of the hardest runs ever to make.

Here's my personal "want to see" among some other things. :) http://tasvideos.org/Highness.html There is actually only one nes game there in my request. But perhaps you'll find that game fun to make? =)

Even if it will be your first TAS it will be great practice. :) I don't know how much patience you have normally, but you will need LOADS of it to make this TAS. Good luck.

Some emulators (I think, atleast my special modified gens) has a function to pause at a frame so that you can fast forward to it if you don't have a save state.

Hmm... http://recordedamigagames.ath.cx/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=3#recording1 I haven't used WinUAE in a long time. But these guys seems to be making speedruns already. Perhaps we could just add re-recording?

I was googling around and stumbled uppon a WinUAE hack with avi-output. Perhaps something useful? I'm not sure it's in development these days. The guy making it calls him self §ane and can be found at http://eab.abime.net/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=203 As the official development page doesn't seem to be there any more I googled around some more and found a working download: http://www.emuita.it/download.php?id=379 Using www.archive.org way back in time machine I atleast found out what the last source package was called. Didn't find anything on google though. :( WinUAE0.8.17r2[avi][src].zip http://web.archive.org/web/20011020062737/http://www.agnus.org.uk/WinUAE-AVI/#Download Use the above link to see what the old page looked like. Perhaps we should try the official (Win)UAE and check if there is possibility to implant re-recording? I think it has recording and avi output now days atleast.

Yeah. But a teaser spoils too much if you ask me. I don't even like trailers for regular movies.

I won't watch another teaser. I think those ruins more than a real WIP.
