considering how fast is the hard mode WIP,i really have no concerns about the difficulty chosen anymore,it looks like it will be entertaining no matter what

considering what went with the recent OOT run,I'd recommend to take it to the staff before commiting to one option or the other

hi,i've made some calculations about flawless victory compared to normal rounds: 3249scorpionwinsround1(130) 3379time bonus(127) 3506flawless victory(125) 3631screen dimming 4897scorpionwinsround2(131) 5028time bonus(125) 5153strength bonus(121) 5274screen dimming 6497wins(129) 6626time bonus(125) 6751str bonus(121) 6872screen dim 8053wins(131) 8184time bonus(127) 8311flawless(125) 8436screen dim 246normal round 252 flawless- only six frames of difference as you can see i tested both for round1 and 2 to make sure the difference was actually on the round result instead of the round's number and unless i can get an easily blockable move in the first moment, the speedrun should go for flawless rounds, double flawless is the same. 4407scorpionwinsround2(130) 4537time bonus(127) 4664doubleflawless bonus(125) 4789screen dimming

Since im noob with TAS, and i hope to do some in future, somebody can up a short video for me to show how to perform a such advanced move like wall glitch by running jumping or rolling? I mean a real-time video, not a finished TAS. The frame per frame (or the method you use), how to setup that move. In other words: the way you use to got that result.
well,Darth, i hope someone might help you out,but another way to do it is simply download the emulator, game and input/movie file and look at the input displayed yourself, also download any scripts available in the thread as they might contain subpixel positions relevant to the trick(i don't know but this is what i'd do if i wanted the info)

while using the pause feature, the emulator desynced the movie,so i did a test run with no pause features,i already found some interesting strats like my fastest round being on billy kane while avoiding the broken stick, and what seemed to be a corner infinite on hwa jai, this last strat not being present in the movie file http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/40263109939334242 i also haven't learned how to produce the avi yet,so no video yet, just the movie file emu used:mame-rr-0.139-v0.1-beta corner lock on hwa jai, seems to be related to the special move keeping him there http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/40279578063232484

since i didn't find any other thread for mortal kombat1,i'll post some info about the first game here: for fastest rounds(tasing for speed),the candidates are basically just punching the whole lifebar plus a move that kills whatever's left, anything else in this game is way too slow and takes more time, this version of the game also lacks major combos, since its gravity is strong and attacks have massive delay after them each 5 punches a character does produces pushback, but there's no pushback in the corner so you can infinite people with jabs in the snes version both on ground and air,in the midsection you'll just have to follow and make him get jabbed even more you can manipulate the enemy to do an attack that moves him closer or simply jump yourself since it's faster than walking,it would be an insanely boring run to be honest and the rounds would be done before the timer goes below 90, i believe(i got a 92 after a lot of tries and now a 93).

No hate, just saying we have categories that complete in different ways the objectives the games suggest. But I do recommend participating in GlitchCity Laboratories for more information about pokemon in general.

voted yes, just a question for the site's staff: Since the character commits suicide, will there be a viewer's disclaimer?
