there's definitely space for 2 TASes but one can't replace the other or pretend to be the former category

Dooty ,you're right,i got my addresses with the europe version, instead of japanese, the difference in pattern is probably the frame differences in NTSC and PAL.I'll redo the patterns later. All my addresses work with the J version though.

Well,MUGG,here lies the challenge:we're an online community and we can't physically be there to get you to try something ourselves, all we do is suggest. We have no other tool for you. Maybe you should let the people present IRL do things their way in order to help you,for example, what's the problem with having someone watching over you in the kindergarten? In their point of view, it's a need for them.Wouldn't it be fair for you to give in to their practices so they can give in something too and let you work with them? Also focus on relating more to the people you want to work with,no employer wants an employee who's all into the client but not the company(should apply to a school as well )

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Critical_hit Damage In Generations II-V, a critical hit deals 2 times the damage a move would otherwise do. In Generations VI and VII, a critical hit deals 1.5 times a move's normal damage. In Generation II, when a move scores a critical hit, all stat stage modifiers, the halved Attack from burn, and the defensive boosts from Light Screen and Reflect are ignored if the target's defending stat stage (Defense or Special Defense) is greater than or equal to the attacker's attacking stat stage (Attack or Special Attack). From Generation III onwards, when a move scores a critical hit, the attacker's negative stat stages, the defender's positive stat stages, and the defensive boosts from Light Screen and Reflect are always ignored. If the attacker is using a physical move and is at -1 Attack stages while the target is at -2 Defense stage... Gen II: a critical hit will not ignore either stat. (Damage with a critical hit will have a 2.64× modifier.) Gen III+: a critical hit will ignore the Attack drop. (Damage with a critical hit will have a 4× modifier.) Gen VI: a critical hit will ignore the Attack drop. (Damage with a critical hit will have a 3× modifier.) so i wonder if the game applied the X attack buff with CH and not the intimidate lol?It may not be read as a zero but as a -1+1 with the minus one removed EDIT: btw,i'm kinda waiting for an encode outside of twitch, because seriously, what a shitty player, one error and i have to go back and reload the whole thing

Okay, one tiny question, what's the point X-attacking on the Archie fight? It raises the attack stat from -1 to 0 (because Intimidate) but then you crit anything anyway which ignores the attack drop you would have had without the X attack.
isn't that gen1 mechanic for CH?

empathy from the therapist is probably the number one factor in good therapy, could you tell us something about this argument? do you feel like you're the kind of person that can be confronted without feeling attacked,MUGG?do you feel the therapist was over agressive, does he/she have the right to "push" you if needed or do you believe it's never right to confront the pacient?

I gotta be honest,i have no idea on how to convert this commands into a lua script or even how to express all the newly found addresses correctly for you guys.I see that my notation and yours is very different and i'm unable to check yours. i have bosses health(it's actually object 1 and 2 health but it works perfectly for the bosses),idle timer, bombs, fire, lamps on stage and lives left but i'd like to share it in a correct way,i tried uploading my memory watch save but i couldn't,i tested this values in battle mode to see if they held up and most did. the way i converted the numbers in the post before don't seem correct either https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_9xtZvndzFWaU05SWtYOEZPYVk I put my memory watch savefile for lsnes here, hopefully you can see my new values to help me understand more EDIT 25/11/2016:bomb types are expressed in 0 normal 1 remote 16 spike 34 slime 64 P i found some adresses related to the equipment and speedshoes but the meaning of the values aren't as clear as other ones.

you use the dump AVI feature in the emulator, but consider checking with the community if the japanese is recommended for submission since faster start screen is a good reason to use it but text isn't. Good luck on your run, looking forward to see this game TASed.

Mitjitsu pointed out something I've been missing/overlooking for a very long time; sub-pixels. Maybe finding a sub-pixel address would solve that riddle for you - since you can't actually "see" them.
how do you recommend doing that memory search?

BIG EDIT DISCLAIMER:the speed pattern is wrong since i tested it on the european version(justice league tas feelings),dooty gave me insight into that, but the rest of the info i have is pretty good, specially my memory watch file,i tested it on the japanese. -END OF BIG EDIT- i found player1 X and Y position exactly on lsnes: xpos: 8262831 or 7E14AF ypos:8262903 or 7E14F7 default speed is 1 per frame, the green rooey dash is 4 units per frame, next step is finding speed address and the speedshoes gain. After 2 speedshoes you walk an extra unit each 8 frames of walking. After 3 speedshoes you walk an extra unit each 4 frames of walking. After 4 speedshoes you walk an extra unit each 3 frames of walking. After 5 speedshoes you walk an extra unit each 2 frames of walking. After 6 speedshoes,it gets hard to get understand the unit moved by frame oscilated with no clear pattern for me: 22121221221212212212122 units by frame After 7, the pattern is 222122212221... After 8, you walk 2 units and each seven frames you walk 1 unit After 9 you walk 2 units each frame normal mode only has 11 skate which puts one character at max speed and the other not so much.
