it would probably be reclassified as " no glitch warp/game corruption" i find a little sad the first game of the series doesn't get much love as it's just boring traditional mechanics,this one is not only interesting but has cool glitches,congrats anyway ventuz

I think it should be part of a PC or DOS category(which should also be the same),but should we have too much exclusive content for it,it would have it's own subsection"PC>Doom" in order not to clutter.Doom is a PC game and should be found on the section,it simply isn't a platform on the viewer's mind(some people that watch TASes barely understand we're not running the game on consoles).I fully understand it's running natively in a certain way but that won't help at all the public. i also recommend the same for Worms Armaggedon,should we ever get one of that game's runs here and that you guys merge the vault and normal videos on the movies section.(I almost lost a few runs with the division done on the movie page)

i say this is a optimized speedrun,even if it has tradeoffs,and should be obsoleted by another speedrun.This is not entertaining.

totally noob question,but doesn't that affect lag calculations because of more detailed textures?(not that the n64 emulators were decent about it to begin with..)

you can show your work in the forums so we can review it beforehand and have some comparisons,we usually don't do it all at once,we keep showing each WIP(work in progress) TASes to each other to see if we can suggest something more before one of us submits.

what do you want us to say?i imagined it was a pure speedrun right from the start,the thread for the game said the original run was unoptimized andboring(but that was at a vaultless time ),i'm not really sure if i support this run.It may be published as a speedrun itself and we may let it be obsoleted later,i mean,why not? i'm not suggesting to lower standards,i'm just saying it's good enough even if we categorically know it's not be the best.

i think it's a bad idea,because the category removes absolutely all optimizations conceived in the speedrunning community.Or can we accept the arbitrary category of "nido family ohkoing with horn drill x accuracy the whole game or just luck manipulate the ohko because it's tas"? why not just simply 100%/catch'em all GSC or RSE now that we have glitches to hatch the most different eggs possible in some of those games? Your suggestion just seems like those people who want a OoT glitchless intended route speedrun,all tricks removed just run right for great justice all over again.
