Nicely done. A yes vote, not only for this TAS, but for MP TASses in general!
Soon, the site will be known as Minimum Presses Videos, a site dedicated to creating and publishing .mpv's. ;)
This prompts me to bring up another point. Regardless of whether this run gets accepted or not, I think that it's shown that this category has potential. Can we finally support moving http://tasvideos.org/Brandon/MinimumButtons.html to http://tasvideos.org/MinimumButtons.html? I think these runs deserve an official home on TASVideos, regardless of whether any of the current runs have been published. There have been some talks about a separate section entirely with a separate queue and acceptance criteria, but I don't know how I feel about that. In any case, I like being able to see these records in one place and get links to their respective movie files / videos, regardless if these movies are actually entertaining. Only the ones with a potential to be accepted on entertainment grounds should actually be submitted to the main queue.
but they are not entertaining, why don't you upload it to your own site or something like that?

IronSlayer,if you don't like the game, you can say it's shit, just don't go givin your opinion on the TAS of a game you know squats about.Similar to a SF player talking about the lack of depth in MK because it has less button or some crazy reasoning that doesn't involve actual understanding of the game.f you wanna see a FG with no depth, try digimon franchise fighters for GBA as an example(mostly mashing as far as i'm concerned and i played that a lot)

first mortal kombat has a few unintended combos,i play it on snes sometimes at university and you can watch combovideos too on the internet(i do jab infinite on corner all the time). snes turtles is just a clone of SF2,even though it's very good, perhaps better than sf2 on the snes. This game has a lot of potential for the superplay with it's glitches and mechanics and i dont really get what is it with Ironslayer. This game's designer must have known they couldn't do a SF2 clone on NES so they invested in different gameplay and mechanics in order for this to stand out.And it does, just like super smash bros did on n64 and other unorthodox fighters did(onimusha blade warriors, inuyasha 3d fighter, virtual oratorio on tangram). Let the correct audience judge this game and its TAS,the ACTUAL PLAYERS.I'll probably end up repeating this on every single thread, though. I don't wanna spur more controversy to OoT thread,so i'll reveal this here,i dind't really enjoy the all temples TAS,even though i think it's a good game, because it had so many cutscenes and it's long for an arbirtrary reason.I still believe it should be published, because the players accept it as valid. Also that thread gets locked just like kids on a cellar.

fisker or feos maybe, you should try a superplay instead.Nobody's had much sucess in speedruns of FGs,because they're not entertaining to our audience of people who are only impressed by a large quantity of graphical shit on the screen. TASvideos might be the polar opposite of the average game consumer, people who want the brightest, shiniest and most realistic graphics while here we have the necessity for bugs, corruption of game states but still keep the unrespecting attitude for niche games and just plain optimized gameplay for those who appreciate it.

The burden of being understood properly is on the writer, not the reader. If you want people to understand what you mean, it's your responsibility to express yourself in such a way that minimizes misunderstandings. It doesn't matter if you use cursewords with a friend. The society does not work like that. If you can't comprehend that simple fact, then it's you who should revise how you should interact with others. "You should understand what I mean, not what I'm saying" just doesn't work in real life. If you express yourself poorly, people are going to understand you poorly. (Of course this is just BS. You were most probably just childishly trolling, and now you are trying to take it back without actually admitting to any wrongdoing.)
I agree with the idea that the burden is on the writer,i'm not gonna try to hold you responsible for not understanding the core of the message but you might want to reconsider the idea that just because something's poorly written, you cannot extract anything from it.Just because it comes with swearing, improper grammar and syntax, insults,it doesn't make it less of a valid idea.(you see it matters not if i will change your mind or not) I don't use this open and informal use of language all the time but i find it curious how few people are ready for it,people just seem to have a "Fnord" blindness("say it my way or i won't listen to you"). It's not even being unclear the problem, you can go straight to the subject and say:bitch, you better watch out for those @#$% cartoons cuz they end up endorsing retarded behavior, fantasy worlds, suck up on your need for approval- and people won't give it some thought at all.It must be the emotion the message carries along. i don't have anything else to say,so i'm done.

You may say i act childish, but you are the one getting worked up about the ponies cartoon. EDIT:in my personal circle,me and my friends criticize each other thoughts, opinions and ideas using both curse words and arguments and we don't get butthurt at all nor do we take it personally. The ability to extract the core of the message from other people's not-so-well-expressed-but-valid ideas is an important ability not only for your professional life but your life as a whole.

No, you offended people because you used offensive adjectives such as "retarded" and "stupid", which was totally uncalled for. Do you honestly think you wouldn't get a defensive attitude when you call someone's hobby by those derogatory names?

yeah i don't have anything again or in favor of the pony show and i'm glad Warp,Kuwaga,Ferret Warlord(who doesnt watch the show but is part of the community) and Dragonfangs actually answered my questions, that was more like what i wanted to read. i watched digimon myself last year for it's nostalgic feeling and actually impressive fastpaced story(at least compared to that lame dragon ball shit),even though im not exactly the biggest anime fan(or fan of tv shows in general),so i wouldn't be surprised if nostalgia somehow managed to get some college grads hooked up on a new cartoon that recreated the warm fuzzy feelings that care bears(for a"let's love and save teh world") or pokemon(for it's community) had.I mean pokemon cartoon was a piece of shit and i watched it because "everybody" watched it(ponies could be watched by a whole internet community and exert its pressure on members) too.I remember being actually bored watching it sometimes but still being hooked up to the TV anyways. the fact that i got some people easily offended for questioning the show's credibilty is another sign of the necessity of being part of this show's community more than the show itself(THE MOB IS GOEING WILD HURRRDUURRR). well,i had enough fun on this thread,i hope u question urselves about how good the show is,if you are an approval seeker(maybe not for society as a whole but to ur community), and keep having fun with it.

I see your spelling, punctuation, and syntax as childish. We've got some smart and esteemed members of our little community watching this "show for little girls", so would be wise to inquire about it respectfully.
screw your preconceived notions about a message needing grammar in order to be understood or valid, you didn't answer why you like it and neither did Warp, just dodged the subject altogether. LOL at smart esteemed members.

Is there a reason we shouldn't? If I like a show, I watch it. Why shouldn't I? Screw any artificial preconceived notions of what kind of hobbies an "adult" should or shouldn't have. Screw conformity.
not really about conformity,it's more about the stupidity of it having such a cult following(this desire to be part of something stupid in a group sounds more like conformity to me),u can like whatever u want,i asked if it's not retarded and why do you watch it. the reason why i question u guys is because i believe everything we do affect us in some way and that includes to some extent watching retarded cartoons. Stupid cartoons might affect kids' social and communicative skills or might be an attempt to escape adulthood for people at our age(i'm 19),just like other behaviors of today's youngsters. Just saiyan.

Keep the number of different branches per game minimal. A run for a proposed new branch for a game should offer compelling differences relative to previously published runs of that game. THIS IS A JUDGE GUIDELINE i think this category is too retarded to get published.it barely changes the game, only a minute more of game play.

I told myself I wouldn't post again because some of the shit posted is literally too ridiculous to even argue with, but I think part of the problem is that you're seeing sex as a conquest. You have a very warped view of women if it's your goal to "conquer those legs and spread them wide open." Again, maybe the reason women don't go for you is because you creep them out with such a cavalier attitude? And in response to "hurr durr I read misogynistic literature so I know more about gender equality than you do", are you familiar with a "false sense of objectivity", particularly the parts about feeling the need to give equal weight to both sides when one is clearly truthful and the other is false (usually applies to discussions of evolution v. creationism or climate science).
lol you might be right, cuz i do want it for the conquer, otherwise i would've paid a bitch to do the well-done job...hahahahah that's why i never get laid then Enterim seems to have grasped it all, friend zone is based on the idea that being nice to a girl should get you laid,as if it's a contract.AND IT'S NOT,BITCHEEEEEESSSSS!Example:You are nice to your friends but you sure don't want them to be attracted to you,it's because you like them and want to remain friends!!

lol as a gigantic victim of friendzoning, i feel the necessity to contribute here by saying that i treated women as humans but never showed any kind of interest at all,so it seemed like a natural result to get a friend zone.More than that,i enjoy the company of a few girls much more than men sometimes, even though they are not sex material for me,which either i wouldn't fuck them or they wouldn't fuck me(specially because if you know them, they become a lot less magical). But i had girls i was head over heels for,and just felt really bad not being able to conquer those legs and spread them wide open. Thing is girls who don't really know me feel very attracted to me in mystical ways i have never been able to reproduce at all,i just take the advantage when i can or screw up sometimes. The social order book is pretty good except for trying to victimise men... if you are emasculated by the culture, you just are prone to being influenciated by powers in general.you were a lil bitch to begin with. i don't blame my lack of knowledge on dealing with women on feminism,it might be the cause but it makes no sense discussing this BECAUSE IT IS A CAUSE.Causes like this are on the past and can't be messed with...it's improvement of the actual state of the "friendzoned" that should be a more healthy matter. BTW,girls are not just humans and not just for sex. They're both.
