IT ISN'T CRAP. BANDWIDTH ISN'T FREE, why must you think things should be given to you freely? The site is not asking for anything but a few minutes of your time. :{

SO SIGN UP HIDDENGAMER. MAN. For those who can't use glide, use direct64, which is actually pretty good.

Excellent work Vidar although I should probally have ommited the coming statement but... I think you missed the robot in Corneria City which costed you +5 and I'm sure back when I played this game that there was enemies to hit in the background during the first boss, but then again bosses hit points decrease as time goes on so you might get a worser deal. I couldn't see this getting improved by any more than 10 hits without doing Expert mode. Why is there a talk on testing every level when there is a very much a well accepted route through the game i.e CRN>>AST>>KAT>>SEC_X>>MAC_B>>AREA_6>>VENOM Just move on.
You say something is missed and you don't say what? There isn't any extra hits at the boss either. That route is not the only choice, as shown above it was actually less than the 2nd route on expert mode at least.

Make sure you advance 50 or so frames after you make a savestate, might help with the desyncs. Did you try to switch around interpreter/recompiler in the rsp if it's laggy?

I think Mupen64 does something like this already (it ignores lag frames).
It also takes input the 2nd frame after you use it on, if that's anything. So if the input was right, whatever would go right at the 3rd frame after.

It says two routes, Corneria --> Meteo --> Katina --> Sector X --> Macbeth --> Area 6 --> Venom 2 Corneria --> Sector Y --> Aquas --> Zoness --> Macbeth --> Area 6 --> Venom 2 The person in the screenshot took the 2nd route so good luck with that. :P

Use this input plugin, better than any controller for precision and ease of use.

Filefront is 1 GB, rapidshare is 300 MB, yousendit is 2 GB? but only lasts a week. I'd go with filefront if anything, not likely to get deleted there since it's a game vid.

Trim 8 seconds off the audio.

Don't need to touch the video at all.. strip the audio from the avi and add the commentary in a different channel (with Audacity?) and then add the audio back to the avi.

I'm wondering 2 things. 1: why does project64 play this game at 60fps, but mupen64 plays it at 30fps. the missing 2 frames every 4 makes TAS difficult.
Project 64's FPS is not frames per second but fields per second or VI/s in mupen.

Awesome, thanks. *back to Super Smash Bros. Bonus stage* Edit: Report bugs here? For some reason when I press hard right on the analog stick it goes passed the normal range to actually pressing left. It doesn't do this for when I press Left on the stick. Any idea how to prevent this. I'm using a N64 controller.
I get that too.

I must say this again, this is the greatest thing ever for precision. Without it, it would be painstakingly hard to do stuff like this.

I believe Glide64 plugin + wrapper could fix the problem, could be wrong though.

Bitrate can't be upped from a low quality file and increase the quality in no such form. All it would do was inflate each frame's size for no reason at all. You can't play god here...

Rising Tempest will have to see what works since this really hasn't been done before but if it does 52ish could be possible with Trevelyan close to the stairs.

........................... You mean downloading the avis? 320x240 resolution with low bitrate? You want to reencode those into DVD format to watch on a big screen? no comment..
