I'm interested but i'll need to practice a lot. For Doak, you can always do the first part past the bathroom doors then just run through normally to find where he is. His position should be set at that point. edit: going to take a while to overcome the button delay. If i ever get the hang of it i could possibly do something, just got out of the vent semi awkwardly.

I think you are allowed to be less spectacular after all of the first part.. i'd offer criticism but i don't know much about the score system, i could never really get that high when i played it.

The jiggy animation takes about 250 frames so it's only 8 seconds.

To TSA: Your only reason for not wanting this published seems to be your ideas which were never mentioned here were not used. Who's fault is that? Just because it's a tas doesn't mean a human can't beat it.. especially in a 3D game.. but show me where a single segment speedrun can beat this time doing the same route and i'll agree that it should not have been published.

I know that's the goal, but the goal is too farfetched when the game is as complex as this is. Do we want GuanoBowl or anyone else to go crazy over this because we want to see a small, improved, almost insignificant change?

Perfection isn't category and if it was, only a handful of games would be published. Have you ever even played Ocarina of Time? To do what GunaoBowl did 'perfect' would have taken us into the new millenium. Why do we have to dwell over the fact it isn't exactly the best route? Nobody could ever do this not using an emulator and it is highly entertaining, beats the game fast etc... why isn't that good enough?

The run should have been published and here is why. From the guidelines: Play for entertainment, not for ego. * We want movies that are entertaining to watch! * If you made a bad movie, do not submit it. This isn't a bad movie, so why not submit it? It's not perfect but is anybody going to make a 3D game this large perfect? TAS only means a good example of great movement/strategy/luck, not perfection.

It's also like that for Hybrid Heaven and Shadow of the Empire.

It seems project 64 just keeps the FPS at 60 going into the pause screen to avoid the long delay.

What i mean is, they can make decisions for many games or anything, while a computer would be lacking that.

Right click the icon and go into profile manager. Or just start profile manager without starting game cam.

Humans can make intelligent decision independently, a program can not. A computer could take a better route based on what happened before, but it would have to be game specific for sure.

I don't think there's a way for the computer to know what the outcome of game would be in the future so it would have to 'go' through it countless number of times. Changing 1 frame at a time because it doesn't know how nonsensical the route it could be taking is.. and how would it stop and try again? No PC could do this

Set up a profile for the emulator .exe and it should say it won't work while not in full screen mode while starting a game. Then go into full screen and press the record key. If you can't record i think there is a default key to override the emulator key input.

Likely even more, even with 1 dominant group, you'd need one other competent one because some levels have enemies charging from different directions and you'd have to leave one at hq. I have never ramboed through the game like that but it might be interesting at least.

I was just going to say that last line, it's not worth it if it's case specific.

It desynched for me in the underwater crate level around the DK coin in regular snes9x and desynched the level after in the blue mosquito bonus room in the altered snes9x.
