Trouble is that there is only two guards that I can safely work with (and I still have to hope the guy can't see me in the current area). Since this mission is probably the only time it is needed to go for entertainment mostly, that isn't good. So I'm playing in realish time for a change. Well, getting out of this room is tougher than expected, keeps desyncing after so many tries to kill the second guard (for some reason) so I may have to kill him while jumping down or just leave him. Okay, almost done, just need to do the download and drop.

The video could have an optional softsub commentary with it in .mp4 container (not avi), seems like it would help with interest in some of the longer movies.

If the game only required us to beat one temple in order to see off Shiek then we'd quite simply complete the Shadow Temple mainly becuase the cutscenes afterwards are much shorter compared to the Forest one.
I didn't say it was any other temple, I'm not talking sequence breaking here but I understand why you both thought that since the game is totally destroyed.

Light arrows come from a cutscene in the temple of time or from using bottle adventure, but to go back to being a child to get it that way, sheik needs to disappear. Sheik does so when 1 temple is beaten.

I'm not sure but it shouldn't be, where does it desync? If you mean falling down the side of the building, that was intentional and unfinished. Try this one out, I should have just completed objective 2. Before anyone asks, the route is intentional, as I need to kill time anyhow but I want to get out of the floors of the building quickly before the guy gets ready to go up the elevator. http://www.divshare.com/download/79646-342

Using the right plugin? In windowed resolution in jabo, select 848x480 or something similar and load it after the copyright info appears, don't wait until the title screen is over because it is actually loading there too.

It didn't desync, pretty sure he is screwing around with you guys, I mean come on! He was doing random 30 second long slash attacks and lining himself up to get hit by boulders..

It is done, talk about precision.. I can't believe someone actually did that in real time but with practice it could be done. I did a different strategy and ducked as soon as I left the helipad but I was right about the wide turn. Not much to see but here it is; http://www.divshare.com/download/77153-a69 You'll need to run it in a 16:9 resolution in either jabo or glide so it doesn't look a bit distorted. I'm gonna change the end bit obviously

Camstudio works pretty nice although it's not free. edit: weird, I must have been thinking about some other program with a similar name, in conclusion, don't use fraps

Well, you can either make the highest quality video by capturing it in large resolution uncompressed but you probably don't want to do that since it is mostly waste if your videos are for casual use and that takes a lot of space, even for a few minute video. For general videos you might want to do xvid as the codec for capturing since it is pretty fast, at a high enough bitrate (like 1500) so most of the video isn't too terribly ugly. Make sure it is set to one pass. You will want to reencode the results mainly because you can then use two-pass encoding, audio encoding (because that is uncompressed when capturing and very large), decimate garbage frames, and making the file size lower. A simple program that can do this that probably should work is mediacoder. Also, you can capture what you want, doesn't have to be from startup.

Okay, 1 crouch is right. Just need the angle, it's likely you did it from a wider angle then the normal , closer to the corner of the roof. A lot of speed is needed since movement while crouched and in the air is limited. Might have to back up or something. I won't move on yet because you said you did it this way.

Wouter, I believe you said you once did the defection trick without the door open or the guy's head or it may have been backwards, can't remember. If it's true, can you remember the angle? I can get stuck between where the door hinge is and the wall but can't move into it. Also if you can remember what position you were in whether it was standing, crouch or double crouch. If it never happened I'll just give up on it.

Whatever happens after cassandra is intentional because nothing is supposed to happen. He sees me at about 25-30s in no matter where in the level. Since the subtitles are off and he is far away, it's hard to notice he does see you but he does and gets stuck in the elevator for a while. So I doubt there is any way to fix it as there is just nowhere to hide and finish in time.

all cinemas in this game are great because they're so bad.
That's when I realized I couldn't escape his fury. Go ahead and try different areas to hide, he will see you anywhere from the bottom of the stairwell to objective 2.

can't load either the m64 or a savestate during dead input frames, at least in this game, there is a ton at the beginning and when loading a level. Just have to wait until you see something show up.

Don't you have a lot of ammo right now or is that not enough? There is a shotgun in the 2nd level if that isn't too far away.

Alright, I'll get started on this sooner or later, sub 2:00 mission time for sure. Just need to figure out how to kill the time before the guy gets there. I don't think any other levels have these sorts of timing issues so that's good (except investigation but that is minor).
