Well, I think you've never played Sparkster on Genesis. SNES and Genesis versions are COMPLETLY different ;)

I'm surprised no one has done this cool game before me. I've started a WIP of this game in very hard (the hardest possible). It ends just after the first boss. If you're familiar with this game, you may have noticed that I haven't skipped the introduction fighting scene. Why ? Just because if you collect every legendary sword in the game you can increase your power at the very end ^^ I've lost some seconds in the first level too to pick up the sword, and also a minute or something like that because of this fu***** machine you have to destroy. The boss was easy but he's a little bit long to beat because of his annoying arm. I hope you'll enjoy the movie :) Here's the link : Here or here The rom used is Sparkster (UJ) [!] on Gens v2.12b test 9f and the movie is 34698 frames, 391 records and 9min38 long. Of course let me know what do you think of this first try ! Enjoy ! :)

Thanks for your answer Dan_ ;) After watching your new WIP, all I can say is "Woh *_*, very impressive !!" You've done things I've never thought about, even if I have been playing this game since my childhood lol. It's sure taking damage saves time a lot in this speedrun, but I think you (or me if I can do like you ^^) should do the game in very hard. It's quite like the crazy hard mode, except that you can take some damage. The goal of the site is "as fast as possible, the harder the game can be" isn't it ? ^^ I'll try soon to start a new game in very hard :) I hope you'll try it too ! For the dead links : retry here or here but hurry to take them, it only remains a week or so :/ ENJOY ! ^^

Time to post a full speedrun of this cool and hard game :p The rom used is M.U.S.H.A (U) [!] but the game is the same. MUSHA is the US name, Aleste the japanese one :) I've done it in hard (there's no secret difficulty to unlock, too bad :/ ) and tried to kill as many ennemies as possible, even if 100% is just impossible. I've used the fire item most of the time beacuse it can kills a lot of ennemies in a few time, and with it i'm sure to kill nearly everyone. The thunder item is useful only a few times, especially to kill some bosses. Concerning the water item, it's totally useless in a time attack run. The jungle stage was a real pain because of the 3 mini bases with orange turrets, it's very hard to avoid and to kill robots at the same time. I took some damage at some point to save time but no life were lost during this speedrun :) As usual, tell me what do you think of this movie. It's 39 min 14sec long, 141 259 frames, 646 records. The file : here or here ENJOY ! ;)

Well, I've decided to continue my run to see if it can be fast even with a higher difficulty :) I've just finished level 2. Things were easier that I thought before doing it. I was surprised how fast the "dragon" in the waterfall exploded. I'm faster than Dan_ on this sub boss ^^ For the train, its "hands" were a pain to aim correctly, even with slow motion. I did my best, I'm not sure I can improve it a lot. Well I let you watch it : Here or here If the links don't work, i'll edit and upload somewhere else. The movie is 9min34 long, 29088 frames and 484 records so far. Enjoy ! ;)

Easy when you know how :) I use Image Ready (an extension of Adobe Photoshop). You can import video files (but not too long, 5-6 seconds max), or you can create your own gif with pics. Tell me if you want some advices :)

Long time no post :) I've decided to make a speedrun of this cool game on "crazy hard" difficulty. In this mode you only have ONE life, NO continue and ONE hit (from every enemy or item) kills you. In that way the game is harder but still beatable with an emulator. I think my movie will be a little bit longer than Dan's one because of tougher enemies, that is to say they are more resistant and longer to kill. The "takes damage to save time" is useless in this mode due to the "one hit = game over". I've just finished level 1, tell me what do you think of it and if it worth to be continued ;) http://users.rockweb.org/mastermag/Rocket Knight Adventures (E) by Maniac.gmv PS : Yeah, I know, this url is weird, just copy/paste it into your Internet browser to download the file ;)

Thx for your reply Highness :) I've redone a new movie of this game, but only world 1. I don't think I can improve more. For the question "what is the fastest way to pass crows in level 3", I think taking damage is better. I don't have enough time to slide, and crawling is just toooo long. For the moment, I have to find how to avoid stopping running in world 2 (or at least not stopping at all). And also, which way is the best ? Up or down ? Cave or forest ? I'm mastering the "walls glitch", that is to say climbing on walls without falling. Tell me what do you this of this new version ;) http://rapidshare.de/files/2149172/Tiny_Toon_Adventures_-_Buster_s_Hidden_Treasure__U______by_Maniacv2.gmv.html Thx in advance !

First of all, Hi everyone ! My name is Maxime G., Maniac is my nick, I'm from France (excuse my poor english lol) Old games are a passion for me. I used to play hours on my Msx and then on my Genesis (Megadrive in France) when I was young. This site (and movies :) ) are really amazing ! That's why I wanted to do a "record" too :p I've looked for a game which wasn't on the site and I found a good one : Tiny Toons Buster's Hidden Treasure. Kind of cool game it is ! I've spent many days beating this game when I was a child. I've done my best. For the moment, my movie is 5min34 long, 381 rerecords, played at 100% speed (ok it's fast but i cannot do better in the first world). I've stopped the movie at the end of world 2, on the level just before the boss level. Here's the link : http://rapidshare.de/files/2116565/Tiny_Toon_Adventures_-_Buster_s_Hidden_Treasure__U______by_Maniac.gmv.html The rom used is : Tiny Toon Adventures - Buster's Hidden Treasure (U) [!] and recorded on Gens 2.12b test9c Tell me what you think about it please :) I know that the second world is far for perfection, and i've done some mistakes in the third level of world 1 To continue I have to remember how i did to climb on walls without falling, it saves a lot of time.
