2-1 (or whatever the sewer is) -- it might be a second or two faster to have the ninja at opposite ends of the snake-robot's room, rather than both of you guys running back and forth?
It's not faster acctually, we've tried.

3-Boss -- Is it really faster to hit the boss while he's forming (particularly after he begins taking actual damage)? Doesn't he simply try to appear underneath you? Knowing that, wouldn't it be better to move to the edge of the screen and kill him so that his pieces will fly off quicker?
Just tried it out, you are right there.

Are you guys attempting to pick up healing potions? That might allow you to use the lightning bolt again on the later bosses, and although picking up potions might cost a second or two here, it'd probably more than make up for it later.
Didn't think of that (how dumb didn't that sound). I think it re-do time!

Ok, me and a friend's done a piece of the game, you can find it here (Emu:FCEU. ROM Name:Shadow of the ninja.nes) Think we should go on? Is there something that needs improving?

I've seen your version of the castle and yeah, I'm gonna redo it after I've seen how you do, and the 3 frames in the beginning is from the opening text which can bee done quite fast (faster then Alexis that is)

The thing is that the longer you run un a platform the faster you'll move forward. What you need to do is too land as close to the left end as possible and jump as late as possible. On some of the platforms you can acctualy get up on the left side though you are below it. My latest movie of SMW using warps (which is not finished) is available at http://www.geocities.com/mahabadama/smw.zip I use it there sometimes, there you can also see the !-block glich that's quite cool. Edit: It also shows a wall-jump trick in Iggy's castle that I think you might find interesting. It saves some frames (3 I think) in the "long lava pit jump"

Blechy had some really good points there. Also, when submitting a movie you put yourself in a very fragile position (so too speak) and if every submission would get accepted, then the whole idea with submitting, voting and feedback wouldn’t bee necessary. Therefore, when submitting I recommend you assume that people will complain, even if the things they mention will be small. And I really didn't like that you accused us for acting superior. What all of us want is to help you and everyone that submit to see that things that can be improved, we don’t complain ‘cause we like it.

Actually, you can be faster then Alexis Neuhaus on Yoshi's Island 3, all you have to do is stay on each swin for as long time as possible. To do this you can almost run in the air 'cause the swings reach abit out of their grafic.

I voted for "The newest unless the old has cool bugs". If this is done I realy think you should write (if you are aware of it) that the specific bug only is present in the version that you use. If you don't, people might come and say that you cheat, have edited the game or whatever. I think in the end it all comes down to the fackt that we must prevent all kind of negative response that tool-assisted movies get all the time, that is also a reason why you should use the newest as often as possible so that everybody can pull it of, unless we're talking Big time glitch that is realy cool or timesaving.

Played SM yesterday and when runing around in the wrecked ship I managed to somehow mock-ball myself inside one of those big robots (this was done before the boss was killed and it was in the room were one robot is stranded against a wall). Don't know exactly how I did though but there might be a chanse you could abuse it in some other places, somehow.

I've done the first part of the game (where you play one course with each caracter) and the mouse sure is fast but the sometimes I think I'll have to play other caracters too because you can't kill enemies infront of you with the mouse, his bombs are far to slow. But the game rocks and it looks good too.

I think I'll try my luck with Little Samson. Though, everything I've tried so far hasn't gotten me anywhere so I hope you won't get to much expectation. And if someone got the old Samson movie (from speedruns.org) I’d really like to have it, maybe for some tips. When I think of it, all tips are welcome.

Acctually, I don't think you should give away what you've worked so hard with. Why not wait to finish it when you get the time?

That glitch is AWESOME! Imagine how fast one could reach new levels! But, does it work when the sprite is killed as well? Because then you could have the girl revive him so you don’t have to get Cup of wishes all the time.

I can get it a bit better, but still it seems to only show every other second. And now when I quitted I got the typical “Windows has performed an illegal activity and will therefore be shutdown”. Geez, I think I’ll just stick with Snes9x.

Tried it all, still the same problems. Can hardly move my mouse due to lag. Also the emu goes so slow (even in 999%) that it's impossible to do anything. Maybe I should use another emu...

Here we go, more famtasia problems. I’ve reed all the posts that exist on Famtasia to find out what’s wrong. I have the patch (with all the “if you don’t know check yes”) I tried to set occupation to 1 (in the famtasia.ini) I have tried to change the speed, everything. But still when I open the famtasia.exe or famtasiapatched(something something).exe my mouse starts lagging like hell. Sometimes window freezes or the emu goes all grey. Any idea what to do? Maybe I should add that I’m going to do a 2 player vid. Thanks for the help.

I've been thinking of one thing. If you use the riffle an hit an enemy whit eatch button press do you miss a shoot due to the "Shoot 2 bullets whit one button press" or not?
