It's a fair idea but... the guidelines say that any movie (That is, if you want it published here) has to begin from reset. I can't watch the movie since I've never gotten to the secret stage IRL and I don't wanna spoil it

I haven't even tried to get involved in this thread yet but now I feel that it's my turn. I think Warp is the one that, so far, is the one with the strongest arguments since it would feel a bit wrong to call them "Savestate and slowdown made superplaymovies" or SASMSPM. Therefor I think using a term and the explain what it meens is the best solution. (Maybe I've repeted some older post but I don't have the energy to read every post in this thread)

I'll follow with the flow. Great! I'm gonna be a bit irritating though, wouldn't it be possible to spend all your specialweapons on the DesertStage so that you avoid the delay when the game counts the remaning weapons? You might save a few frames there.

Very well done, indeed. I just loved that glitch in 2-1 (I think) that took you someplace that looked just like 1-1. YES from me!

Azure Dreams, I found that game easy. Just fuse that blue bird with one of those green geeks that steal items (hope you get which ones I mean), if you do that you bird will be able to do two moves each turn ;). One trule evil game is Dragon's Lair, Nes and Snes (never beaten any of them) aswell as DragonBall Z:Super Butouden for Snes. The hardest mode is just impossible! And why hasn't anyone mentioned SuperMarioBros. 2 (Japan)? That game's freaking impossible even with warps.

Very good, indeed. I haven't watched any of your updates 'cause I wanted too wait for the full run and belive me, it was worth it. There is a few questions though I'd like an answer too: 1. Would it be possible to save some time by Sliding or Dashing just before you enter a screenchange to reach it faster? 2. You use the slide alot but do you save time in movement by using this or is it faster just to run? 3. Why, oh why did you not Spin more to save time? I would have loved too se that (I know you've answered this one before but I just had to ask) [/b]

One game that has realy good music but never seems to be mentioned in discussins is Romancing SaGa 3 to SNES. It's a SFC though so that might have something to do with it...

I think it should be different. This topic has been disscussed earlier, then it had to do with Phil's SMB1 movie. IMO, the movie should aim to accomplish its goals as fast as possible, not aiming at ending the inputs as earlie as possible. If that is the goal, then it should be specified like "Aims to end input as soon as possible" and not "Aims at fastest time".

Very impressive indeed. But, somehow, I can't help thinking it is still possible to improve. Though I know I am not capable of doing it, I just know someone will. Anyway, this movie deserves a YES vote, ofcourse, and it sure has gotten mine. Great work, Genisto.

Try releasing your cape before yuo reach the key so you run for a while. That should do the trick.

That color glitch occures when you are able to activate the keyhole before the camera has moved high enoght. I don't know the requierments though, I simply flew up that hole, released the cape, grabed the key and ran up too the keyhole and Vóila, collor glitch. Btw. I love the work you've done so far. This run is going to be something special I think.

It is possible too get past that Enemy in Ankor Watt without the Earthquake, I know it. The thing is that you kinda have to kill it before it starts spinning cause when you aproch it the first time it just stands there and wont start spinning till you are close enough so all you have to do is hit it with that energyball or whatever it's named.

I realy like what you have done with the run so far. Nice going with YI2 and YI4. I'm realy looking forward to see what you can do in the Castle. Also I like to see if you can come up with a new solution for DP1 since I had a hell getting my flying right there and hit that tiny hole. Great work so far!

Well.... the Genesis game seems to have like only half of the levels the SNES has. I won't vote due to this
