Myself I use two keyboards. One via USB and one via the original port. Might be a bit messy sometimes but it sure is good when you play 2P ;) Also I can have the forward or the boost button pressed on one of the keyboards all the time (using some kind of weight to hold it down). Works realy good if you don't have any other options ;)

I've been trying all night (well, night in Sweden that is) to come up with something to say that shows have awesome this is, still no result though... But Teremakasih, why would I hate you for making my dream come true? I've always believed that a Super Metroid run under 30 minutes is possible, now I know I was right! (Sorry, have to cry some more tears of joy now)

Oh my god... I don't know how to say this... I don't have enough words but, WONDERFUL Terimakasih! I never expected to see this actually. And how on earth did you manage to get the movie done so quick?! I can't belive this, Super Metroid sub 30 minutes... I have to go and cry some tears of joy.

When I think about it it's more of a delay of the increase of altitude. What you do is pressing forward a while before you hit the koopa, the result is that you won't get the upward boost untill a bit later. I hope you get my point and I hope it can prove usefull. If you still don't get what I mean I can make a smw by tomorow (it's bedtime for me now ;) )

I haven't seen the newest updates but do you know about the "avoid flying high after bumping a koopa while flying" thing? If not it may help you bounce some more koopas.

I am sooo weak for these NES slaughter games, I just love them! And ofcourse, the final boss' scary true form! This movie was well played, indeed. But I don't see it as something extrodinare. I haven't played SwordMaster but I think this wouldn't be to hard to pull of on a console. Well, maybe that ceeling glitch. But since I love mass sloughter ala knights my vote is: YES!

Mr.Mazzic , Can you take a new movie?^^;
Hehe, I take that as a compliment ;) but I probably won't make a Super Metroid movie, not for now anyway. And also, please not call me Mr.Mazzic, we're on the same level so just Mazzic is fine.

Oh,this movie has only 2 seconds; Is this file broken? Or is My computer bad?;
No, it is simply a very short movie of how I meen that the Higher jump should be performed.

So, I can't take a movie,sorry.
I am very sorry to hear that. I think you have great potential and you have great knowledge of what you do. Please, try. I can't force you, I know that but I think that if you do a new full movie it sure will be published and others whould be able to enjoy your skills. So again, think about it a little more...

>Terimakasih Fiering: Maybe it is my spelling that is bad but I meen fire or shoot. High jumping: You didn't get quite what I meen. Check this out. Space pirates: You're right there. It's the enemy's name in USA anyway. Don't know about Japan. Ceres: Great job! The movie was wonderful! Higness' sugestion: You were right. Great movie aswell ;) 2700,18500: No, you do as you wish. I am in no position to tell you how you should do your movie, all I do is telling you what I think. In fact I think your wall jumping in the new movie at Ceres is realy impresive.

Here is my list to Terimakasih of what I think you should think about. I might be wrong in some places so you whould do best if you tried it out to see what is the best way of doing something. The list is up to where you enter Brinstar (the numbers is frames and shows where this has been seen): 1750 - When going down past a ledge remember that the higher you jump the faster you fall. When you need to go down try getting a high jump before you pass the ledge. 2700 - Has nothing too do with speed but look at how Frenom did. Look at the Metroid, look at the grey door and so on like Samus wonders what is going to happend 6050 - Again, think of a high jump. 10200 - I am quite sure that it is possible to start slowing down a little earlier so you can enter the elevator earlier. 12800 - Try fiering earlier to remove that block, maybe even in a jump from one side of the door to the other and then Mockball . After the first missile - I do not think you reached top speed before you turned into the morphball. Run a little longer. 15200 - I do not understand why you jump there, is there a reason? 17800 - You hit your head in the wall as you go through the door, can this be avoided? 18500 - Try too come up with something a little more interestion to watch. The bomb jump you use in Norfair is for example more impresive in my eyes. 19200 - Why do you get hit by the Chozo? Try avoiding it unless it is extremly nessesairy. 21200 - I know you can shoot the door open earlier so you won't tutch it when you go through it. 22400 - Getting past the space pirates, can't you get thrown forward insted? Try turning around the frame before they hit you, that often works. That was what I had too say for now. Please, when you have done some progress could you post a link to it so we can watch it and point out if there is something that can be improved so you don't have to di it all again. Hope you understand what I wrote aswell.

I could give you a list of improvements if you wish. I've seen a couple of things that I know can be improved and I will gladly share them with you if you would like. If you would like it, I'll write them in the Super Metroid thread

Jay! After hours of tries I'm finaly done with the "invisible blocks level". Also the Green Skull boss is defeted. The new updates can be found here. I think I'm past the hardest level in the entire game now. Please give your reflections. Edit: High speed progress here. New level added.

I must say I like this new version better than the "old" one. However, I still have a problem with the "stoping movie event". Therefor I'll say: "This movie is great, just splendid. But I will not vote because I can't make up my mind due too the stop." Keep up the good work, Phil!

Hey, for a Super Metroid run I'd help you with anything! It might not be easy to get your point all the time, I admit that but if you decide to make a new movie just post prewievs so we can give you recomandations on what to do during the process. And we (or atleast I) will NOT be troubled.

Then the SMB movie could be done shorter if you jump before the axe and on the peek if your jump you end it. You probably would reach the axe later due to the lost in speed when you release the A button (or is it B?). Anyway, my opinion is that movies should end when all the goals of a movie is reached, not sooner or later. Edit: Hadn't read the Workbench forum when I wrote this :P but I still claim that a movie should end when all the goals are achived.

Terimakasih: Mockball - Yes, it is the "morphball dash" Inaccurate jumps - In some plases you sumped a bit to high or far, nothing that is extremly bad but keep it in mind. Slow menus - I mean equiping and moving. As Blechy wrote, use advance frame feature. As I watched your movie again I realised some more things. (I won't drag them all up here) I think the creation of this movie should be discussed in the Super Metroid thread because I'm quite sure that many here can provide you with some more information on how to improve this movie. I can't wait till the new version is done ;)

I'm gonna be a real pain here but: No. Too many inaccurate jumps and the menues are far too slow. But I love the mockballing, finaly someone realized the ful potential of the mockball ;) This is a realy impresive movie but there is some places to improve. I know I'm cynical but since I love Super Metroid I want the movie too be almost perfect, your movie is faster then Frenom but his is more presice. And I can almost promise that a sub 30 min is possible
