After some analises, i'll start a V4. I have some minor mistakes that i ignored because don't hurt me much. But reviewing the full movie, i think i could save 5 seconds or more with the group of "minor mistakes". Things that i did in my inmsonia nights and that i don't revised... And i start to use the W barrels too. Only this could save me more than 1 minute in some stages. And i'm not be angry with Bobbing Barrel Brawl and Squeals on Wheels again =]

Well, you already start a any% run, so just don't think much about it by now. =] And... Cotton Top Cove Completed! I finished the boss faster than Sami because i touched the ground some frames earlier than him after catch the ski. Now, the snow world: K3 (yep, it's a snow world, even counting only 2 stages with snow plus boss). Krac Shot Kroc (and spider-madness) is very close now /o/

Tracker Barrel Trek done. Before catch the DK coin i have a little lag, but is faster than kill the Blue Big Kremlin with Ellie. And i discovered that press A with Ellie (even without water charged) make him stop his rising movement. I used this a lot in this stage. I think i could finish Cotton Top Cove today, but i have some problems with *power* in my city and could just work on this 3 hours ago. I'll try advance on Fish Food Frenzy the most i can, but probly i couldn't finish it today.

Definitelly, you are a Workaholic. You'll be a CEO soon =] But i think this run is not so good as it appears because of the left-oriented stages. DKC1 have much few and DKC2 & 3 have a lot of left movement (Especially DKC2 Gangplank Galleon). So, a lot of time you'll be running against a wall in one of the games. If you want to do this anyway (hey, you are the patience-man), i recommend an triple any% run because the movie will be faster. And i supose the movie have 1:20 at least because of this unwanted backtrack.
all actions when jumping do no register, besides directional movement
One word: Squawks. When you riding/morphing in Squawks in DKC2/3, then the other games are every time jumping.
when rolling A and direction can cause rolls to either be interrupted or stop at an inconvenient time.
...except on DKC3. The roll can only be interrupted with a jump. A lot of time i have to roll ealier or not roll because i need to do a team throw. Good luck. I'll give hints to you about DKC3 because this game is MUCH different than the other when we talking about TASing.

You checked if he don't respond or don't received the PM? Maybe he just got away from forum and ever saw you PM. If the message is on Sentbox, he received and not answered (So, he ignoring you and you can do anything you want). If it is on Outbox, then he don't read it. And i have a new WIP now. Kreping Klasp is more easier than i think, but for sure is the harder stage of this world to TAS because of this anoying fish. Maybe i could finish the last stages today. I wake up early and have absolutelly nothig to do.

Yep, i consider to do an Any% run. But i have a bad habit to don't finish my plans, so i try to don't think on this before finish the 105% run. Send a PM to Arne and ask him if he still doing the run. Maybe he don't have much time now to finish it and you can do it. Or you can just be a bad guy and work in the run instead of what he's doing XD

at the beginning there's a barrel on the ground that you jump over. I thought you could roll through barrels by letting go of Y during the range of frames that would make you grab the barrel
I tested this on the first stage of the game. Let Y go when i'm crossing the barrel make me slow down time enough to made the jump a better choice. Intead of Diddy, Kiddy lost MUCH speed when he's walking intead of running, even when he roll.
Sami let the Kongs take hits to avoid having to go in some blast barrels twice, I didn't see any DK barrels along the way but did you consider letting a Kong take a hit to save time in this level?
I need to choose: Or i take hit of a bee and gain like... 2 seconds, or i do the team throw up the stage and use Parry in the bonus (i couldn't reach the bonus with him without using team throw). And i don't have any DK barrel or midstages barrel in my run. It's the effect of the "hard mode". (The good point is that i ever have both monkeys in the begining of the stages)
On the good side, Using the team throws was brilliant and saved a lot of time, and finally I see the use of that weird bird, I never knew he had a use in one of the bonuses, I always disregarded it because the thing died easily.
The team throw is my discover. Parry's use in bonus is an idea from David Gibbons of SDA. And i have to use Parry in other 2 stages because he'll change in a bonus barrel =]
The barrels are all really slow in this game, so it's nice to see you breeze quickly through this level. Nice job.
Thanks, man =]

Rocket Barrel Ride complete. No, i can't catch the second bonus without walk this all. This is an small and simple stage, i have much time to optimize it. Next stage is the harder to TAS of Cotton Top Cove. I think Sunday i finish it.

Just press 5 and go ahead the stage taking screenshots (F12). After taking screens of all parts of the stage, just go to Microsoft Paint, or Adobe Photoshop (or similar) and paste the images one in another. It's waste a lot of time, but isn't hard. And know the full map help a lot to plan distances, speeds, routes, etc...

Bazza's Blockade is really a sweet stage. No problem to TAS it (to be true... it spend me something like 1~2 hours). I wasted much time training how to map stages. Maybe because i wasted a lot of time doing this, i already have the full map in my mind when i TASed XD I already take an short trip lookig routes on Cotton Top Cove, and this world is much faster than Mekanos. Only Kreping Klasps can cause me some trouble. You want the WIP? I was forgiving it =] --------------------------------------------------------
I also thoroughly enjoy Donkey Kong runs with there interesting layouts along with their graphics/music which sets the theme. This run is turning out really great and entertaining so please keep going.
Without doubt, DKC3 have the better SNES graphics (maybe SFA2 has a better graphic, but i don't play it). But, it has the wrost music in all DKC series. Some stages just don't have music (Bobbing Barrel Brawl, for example), and the Kremlings sounds are totally annoying >.< Thanks to feedback. Everyone. I like do things that everyone like =]

Thumbs up. =] I'm not being repetitive. I liked more when you missed the Ultra versus Saberwulf. And let the people see the music credits. It's the best music of this game /o/

Mekanos Completed! I find a bug to fight KAOS. It made the fight 10 seconds faster or more. =] Now is concentrating to the water stage.

"Loss" is because i have to take a little detour to catch the coin, instead of simpling go ahead in the faster route. Minor changes earlier in BB make me gained 60~80 frames, and i catch the flag 143 frames later, but still being slower than my last wip. The info is just because someone made a save after the stage to just don't load this because the stage finished in a different frame now. 10 hours of sleeping, a new record /o/ After my work i'll fight KAOS. Today i'll start Cotton-Top Cave.

Just to ask... i'm doing my Donkey Kong 3 movie using a secret not-so-secret code (because anyone who play DKC3 know this code) to open the "hard mode" and the full percentage (105% instead of 103%). Just because of this 3-second-code my run could be a concept demo instead of an DKC3 100% run? I'll finish it anyway, is just to ask and avoid another war about concept game in my future sumission.

Low-G Labyrinth complete I returned in Blazing Bazukas just because i forget one Bear coin, and lost 143 frames on this. But i need this coin in any way. As i suposed, run and jump in this stage is the same lenght. Rolling is faster, but the long jump time made the roll-jump-roll strategy fail. Because of the bad music and the boring (slow) stage, i tryed to stay as close possible of the bees. KAOS is an easy boss, i could kill him tonight, but i'm sleeping over my keyboard, so tomorrow i'll post KAOS fight.

Right. Roll don't have speed increment in next stage. And when i need fall, jump before the hole is better than roll down because i gain falling speed. And i have 2 or 3 red bees sequences with i can glide with Dixie, so, she is an obvlious choice. My doubt is the first bonus. I'm not sure if catch it with the Purple Squawks is faster than just throw the monkey inside (even with dixie, i'm not changing in this stage).

Blazing Bazukas complete Dixie is making her first full stage next. She's better in Low-G than Kiddy, and also, KAOS is beaten in the same mode, with any kong, so she'll kill her first boss of this game too. And, of course, i loved my 45 seconds of Squitter in this stage. Now i have to wait to Krac-Shot Kroc in the end of K3... Enjoy =]

One thing that i noted: Mekanos is faster than Kremwood Forest (Squeal on Wheels and Bobbing Barrel Brawl) AND Cotton-Top Cove (because of both underwater levels). So, really was a good choice do a fast world instead of doing two slow in sequence. And i played Mekanos first just because of Squitter XD

The port to GBA is much similar to SNES version. I sugest you to use Donkey Kong Land. This game have *only* the principal characters as the same. The stages and the bosses are differents. I remember when i buy a Game boy (in a long, long time ago) i buy DKL1 and waste a lot of time to finish the game totally. Ok, the graphics are bad, but SMB1 have a bad graphic too and nobody blame anyone to TAS it =D
