This guy did a TAS of Vechs' Infernal Sky 2 and Spellbound Caves using a Minecraft mod which allows TAS-like savestates/slowdown.

You can't skip diffusion missiles, which PJ indirectly pointed out.
In the link he gave, it shows you can bypass the diffusion missiles either through a glitch or shinesparking. So yes, they ARE skippable.
