I'm going to have to say no. It didn't really entertain me much. I thought Saturn's run was better in that regard.

Fire type bosses(Atlas and Queenbee) are weak to Electric types(Rospark and Aeolus)
That doesn't necessarily mean it's better to fight them that way. Mobility is an issue with Rospark, I would think. And there's also the LME problem that was just mentioned. I can understand Rospark being effective on Queenbee, but I would think Atlas is way too mobile for Rospark to be effective.

Oh. Then that's been known for a long time.

I know using Deerburn on Chronoforce is slower than using Model A. I'd venture it would be the same for Thetis. And I find it hard to believe using Rospark on bosses is beneficial. Bifrost has to be the last one you fight, as the portal to the last stages if right after him, and his form is useless. And how can you use the spinning slash and an EX skill at the same time?

I don't know if this is humanly possible. The timing for the midair switches is really strict.

From what I remember reading on SDA, Grey's game was a little bit faster. Doing Beginner has the benefit of activating warp points without having to pay. There are only two such points that were worth activating. But I wouldn't know if you can round up the money required to activate them quickly enough.

TASers don't seem to like to share discoveries like we do.

Yeah, I didn't actually know you could skip Legion like that, must've missed the memo, but it makes perfect sense. Now the question is who else. I'm positive Brauner and the four dark portrait bosses can't be skipped. My hunch is Death.

You mean two bosses besides Behemoth and Keremet? This I gotta see.

Hitting a wall is necessary for some of the shiftlines. That's the stuff that lets you crawl outside the screen. The stats don't go low enough on a regular file. Luck Mode is required for such low HP and defense. And the enemy HP item that I forget the name of is very far out of the way.

wow that was really impressive. the amount of bigtosses is nuts, and all the new stuff is excellent. i really liked Alucard repeatedly crying "WHAT!?" in the Tombstone corridor. Yes vote.

holy shit Yes vote. i knew this game could be broken, but you flat out obliterated it. i love how you were even able to skip fighting Menace. i wonder if this can be duplicated without TASing.

except this run uses a No Save file. but i do agree that using a complete file would make a better movie than getting all 14 Emeralds with level select.

i think they should only be LVL4'd when necessary. most of the time, avoiding a weak point is slower than just killing the boss, especially when you have Model HX's full powered charge move.

definite No. it's 15 seconds slower than the unassisted record, and it's sloppy all around. you even had to switch to Lubicant at the beginning of the run; that's something that should've been taken care of ahead of time.

nicely done. Yes vote. though, it was annoying having to fastforward through the cutscenes, but that's not your fault.

i don't understand that reasoning at all. but that doesn't matter. this movie was outstanding. the new Woodman route blew me away.

nicely done. i don't know if this was in previous versions, but i loved how you skipped the minibosses in the snow level. Definite Yes.

i like what i see in these WIPs. but i fear for this run's future. what exactly is "low glitched"? not using zips to go directly to Eggman, but using them elsewhere is going to be tough to justify when it comes to judging. it could be considered an arbitrary restriction. if it were me making this run, i would play it safe and never enter a wall.

agreed with the above. while Contra 4 isn't as hard as some of the others, it's still a bitch, so seeing it being annihilated like this is a real treat. and i too agree that the death abuse is correct. it's a nice change of pace because you expect a run to never die or get hit, and you get to hear some of Bill's fantastic dialogue you wouldn't hear otherwise. i also like how you used almost every weapon in the game. sure you stuck with M and C most of the time, but at some point every weapon except Homing got some screen time. i say Yes. one note, though. at the very beginning, when you selected your difficulty, your cursor was already on Hard. my memory is failing me; is it like that by default?

As for the psp... lets remind its another system, and near 15 years after this game So yeah its official ... for that game Whe are on pcengine now, wait a few more years and i guess there can be a tas of psp port
why does that make a difference? it's a port of the PCE game, therefore it's the same game. also, Rondo of Blood is a perfectly acceptable translation of Chi no Rondo. concerning the NITM run, i think that should have also used Symphony of the Night cause it's just another version of the same game. they have the same name in Japanese, and if it were brought over to the other regions, i don't see why it wouldn't be called SotN. i agree with moozooh's suggestion to use the English name whenever possible. however, using kana and kanji when there is a translation or English version of the name (like SotN) feels redundant to me.

and Chi no Rondo either (the PSP version is called "Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles").
Dracula X Chronicles includes the original game in it along with the remake. and it is called Rondo of Blood there. if that ain't official, i don't know what is.
