Also, with STR Boost, you'll want to use Encyclopedia (20 dmg (Holy element)) instead of Tome of Arms 1 (6 dmg).

I didn't suggest using Darts on Drac; if anything, it would speed up the Astarte fight. Holy Claymore + ALL Boost does 76 dmg. My STR Boost-related suggestions are TAS-only since the route doesn't include Stone of Flight and Speed Up.

I'm just suggesting possible improvements - you don't have to test it, and I don't intend to TAS anything myself. At lvl 9, Holy Claymore does 90 dmg with STR Boost and 64 dmg without. Dart dmg is based on INT. Another possible alternative is partner jumping off the drawbridge to get ALL Boost (STR,CON,INT,MND,LCK +15) - considering the speed of Dart spam and the time it takes to charge the spell, the INT boost probably won't help, but you could still get it for the STR.

In case no one considered it yet, getting STR Boost (+30 STR fully charged) might be beneficial - it saves over two minutes on Drac unassisted, at least. Looking at the published TAS, you would either - move past the spot where you SG into The Throne Room, partner jump up to STR Boost and suspend back to the exit on the right side or - suspend back into the map right after Behemoth and the pushing block (after SGing outside next to Raging Fire), traverse the two big Great Stairway rooms, get STR Boost, activate the warp next to where you SG into The Throne Room, continue to Sandy Grave as usual, then warp right next to where you SG into The Throne Room after getting Holy Claymore. This seems faster. For SG-less runs, you're traversing the room anyway, so definitely get it. For the record, I was also considering SGing to (from Wind's room (it might also be faster (real-time) to SG from Wind's room to Raging Fire after getting Lizard Tail) and Magical Ticketing from Offensive Form (+8 STR), but I don't really think it's worth it. Still something to look into, I guess.

I've made a Albus NG+ testrun that beats the game in just about 12 minutes. Since it's just a testrun there's a few minor mistakes and Action Replay was used, but only to get to lvl 255 everything else was legit (like getting max HP/MP ups) Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJb0GGFquBk Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DTXlUOuq7M Sorry about bad quality I'm not very good at encoding.
Thanks for that. Would definitely like to see an optimized version. What's the final ingame time?

Edit: Yeah, a lot. I translated some of them roughly, here it is. http://pastebin.ca/1874674 Edit 2: He has posted his final route. http://pastebin.ca/1876646 One major mistake you (and me in Test TAS) made: You definitely don't need to get the second Blow/Wind rings, because you don't need to "equip" it actually.
Thanks for the translation. Wow, I'm pretty sure that was among the first things I tested when I first heard about the accessory glitch. Something went horribly wrong there. That's another ~40 seconds saved.

By the way, there's a player who achieved sub 55min completion (non-TAS, in-game) in Japanese Order of Ecclesia wiki (no videos though). Interesting. http://pukiwiki.a.la9.jp/ubawareshi/?%BB%B2%B9%CD%A5%BF%A5%A4%A5%E0
Did he post a route/tactics you could translate?

How do you get on Eligor's back? I can't figure it out from watching. Is it feasible in real-time play?

Richter gives 0 EXP like all story-related bosses.

Richter is completely optional. VK special spam would be useful for all the bosses afterwards except Medusa and Death, though I don't think you can make up for the time lost from fighting him. You would have to get Cream Pie, too, unless you have a better strategy in mind.

So are you gonna be working on another Metroid run?
I don't have anything planned right now, but there is always a possibility for it to happen in the future.
May I suggest a 9% Hard run? I've always been wondering why that hasn't been done yet.

Even PoR's backstab specials had to be good for something. How hard is it in real-time? Now you just need to squeeze into the Sanctuary tunnel and skip Toad Morph.

I'd say that if someone wishes to be surprised (as a form of entertainment) by the final product, he could just not follow the thread in order to keep his knowledge of the game as limited as possible, so hiding something from the thread where game/run discussion is supposed to take place doesn't make sense to me.

And why should a run using tricks that he found and kept to himself not be published?
I meant that publishing a run and thus exposing your tricks would defeat the purpose of hiding them in the first place, unless, of course, you were going for an element of surprise. Still, I think you should let your audience decide whether they want to be surprised or not. Hiding something from fellow runners who could potentially help you out isn't the same as hiding something from casual viewers.

I was just saying that, if it was that way, it wouldn't be a good idea.

He would never be able to publish a run using his tricks, then. Doesn't seem like that great an idea. ;)

Yeah, sorry, I forgot to mention it anywhere. I did update the route with it, though. Dullahan? Maybe he found a way to squeeze by the carriage. Of course, the actual mystery here is why he doesn't simply tell us. :P

Magical Ticket after getting the Cog is already known, but I don't know who the other one might be.

Hi, I'd like to see a demonstration movie of the Tymeo Mountains damage boost to reach Marcel without double jump. Is it feasible for real-time play or do you need a very specific Winged Skeleton spawn? Also, is it possible for the game to spawn two rare chests during one visit to the area?

Has anyone tested the Illusion Fist's limits under TAS conditions? Would be interesting to know. :)

Considering there are already two MZM runs on the site, I doubt there will be more than one low% category, and I think that one should definitely be EU 9% Hard.

That's what I thought, but
wouldn't it be possible, then, to suspend and reappear at the end of the Mine of Judgment?
- Mud Demon - Succubus - Cutall or Cindequa
is confusing me. Sorry. :( Edit: Maybe switch Kaladbolg for Claimh Solais and add a few hits while Erinys does its work?

Am I missing something? You uncovered the Abyss warp room, so why not just backtrack to the Chapel warp room and warp there?

I can't match my console times with a PS2-style pad and a mouse for the touchscreen. Nothing major, but because of the other stuff mentioned I have to wait anyway.
