I'm really glad you liked it :D Those are the reasons of my actions : - I got hit because i the golem is not within the reach of the ZSaber when he uses his right arm lasers... This was a necessary hit... - Well, I have to see you video again, but i noticed that the scorpion's head, tails and pincer deal 4 damages, while its body only deals 2... I need to dash slash him at least four times to reduce the number of slashes i need to kill him by one. I wouldn't have enough energy to do so if i'm hit by the head each time... so i need to get hit by the body before slashing him... - The SB is quite a strange weapon... if it does not reach the first stage of charge then it DOES NOT charge during the "door pass" animation. I have to use the saber to kill an enemy just before the door and I can only switch to the SB after i killed that enemy... I admit I did not try to switch right after i killed it and then jump dash to the door but it's not sure that there is enough time to reach the first stage of charge before the door... Hmmm... I'm not sure that explanation was clear... well if it's not just tell me i'll show you... - You're right... i charged the buster to prevent Hyleg from jumping at the beginning of the fight... I could have released the charge during the battle... i'll think about it next time... - I took a hit at the end of the fight just for fun... Is it so lame ??? Ok i'll remove that... I'm continuing the run tonight :) Thx for cheering

I bought a DS Lite and I'mnot disappointed at all... Many of the games are really interesting and addictive... So far I've only got 5 games : - Castlevania Dawn Of Sorrow - New Super Mario Bros - Sonic Rush - Metroid Prime Hunters - Megaman ZX The latter is really good though it doesn't really use the pencil thing... maybe because I'm a megaman fan... Also there are some accessories that allows you to watch movies, play music, play GBA and even NDS roms... NB : you an play NDS and have a gym licence... In my opinion it's more affordable than the PSP and with the proper accessories it offers the almost the same features... The NDS is more innovative than the PSP so I think it's a better choice... and most of the polls of the net will tell you the same...

Here you can find a WIP of the first four levels... I'm progressing faster now... I've also improved Phoenix magnion from 1'20'' to 1'17'' due to a nice improvement of the boss fight... (i'm quite proud of it) For those who wondered : I use the (U) version of MMZ2 Edit : And i raped Panther Flauclaws according to Zurreco's desire :)

My girlfriend does know about TASing (well, we live together so how could she not) and I've made her watch a few TASes of games she's familiar with. Mostly she just says it's weird and that she can't understand how anyone can be entertained by TASes, especially long ones. She's happy that I'm happy though and doesn't mind me TASing or watching TASes.
Lucky you are ! y'ou have a comprehensive girlfriend!!

I have a quote from the DK64 forum that i found interesting. Does anyone else share their hobby with partners in this way? 1) Do you make TASes together? 2) Do they know that you TAS? 3) Do they know what a TAS is (have they seen any)? 4) Do they have absolutely no idea?
1) No 2) No 3) No So i guess for me it's a 4)... And i shall never tell her... she'd hate me for that as she does not dislike anything more than computers... That's a shame for me...

Megaman Zero 4 was TASed before the international release but asking for a game to be TASed when there's not even a non-rerecording emulator available...
The fact is that I did not need to speak Japanese to TAS (or NATE if you prefer :P) RMZ4... It's a game that had 3 prequels and the game system did not change in RMZ4... Moreover MMZero is a series that is quite well known so it might have interested quite a bunch a people when i did my run... and I stress the point that I wasn't the first one to try a run for it, Iriasu was the one to give me the idea. Though I know of the basics of Pokemon games, I guess that Mystery Dungeon is not like the other ones. Though I fear that a run for Mystery Dungeon in japanese won't interest people that much because it's not so well known as RMZ4 was and it's a new gameplay (i guess) so in japanese it might be as fun to watch as a RMZ4 TAS.

Hmmm... I don't know if you have the time, but why wouldn't you try to do a run for this game yourself... It's not animosity, though, you should try to run through the game... Let me explain... If you try and post WIP here, some people might get interested in this game and continue on or help you... I do not know this game... but as it's a Pokemon game it must be quite long and not so easy... I hope you get my point here... i did not want to be mean... ;)

Zozog, Some news about the run... As I already explicited, I've started from scratch again and I redid the first level... It is one annoying level as you have to manipulate the golems and the boss into not doing some actions... For example, The first glem MUST use his left lasers first because, if not, you cannot slash it directly... The first level has been improved, my previous time was 0'46'', the new one is 0'44''... Yep, that's true, it's a 2sec (of the in-game clock, so it's not really two seconds) improvement... What I improved is : - jumping over the second tower ennemy instead of killing it. - avoiding landing with a gun as it makes me lose 1 frame dashing - dash slash the boss four times... it makes it lose 5 bars instead of 4 (normal slash)... So this way it only requires 7 hits to destroy it instead of 8, making me spare the last invincibility period that would require a 8th hit... Continuing onwards into the stage of Polar Kamrous

Be careful about the walkthrough, as it allows to complete the missions (and the AI of the game is still random) but not necessarily in the fastest way... Anyway, I'd be glad to see a run for this game... I know it a bit so I can maybe help...
