No, I'm not dead... I'm working on this TA speedrun... I've finished the firts four levels... here my current "in-game" time : - Intro level : 0'46'' - Polar Kamrous : 1'19'' - Panther Flauclaws : 1'21'' - Hyleg Ourobockle : 1'04'' - Phoenix Magnion : 1'20'' I'm not posting my WIP here, though if you still want to watch it, just ask it, i may post it... Moreover i'e heard about a glitch and i investigated the thing a little and i found something that may be interesting... It's about the chain rod... I shall post the glitch movies here soon... But if anyone knows something about it and how it could be used I shall continue to work on it... see you soon ;)

Oh, I've just found this game, and I find it very funny... If no one has begun a speedrun for this game when I'm done with MMZ2 then I may give it a try :)

Hecate Enthroned WAS a good band in my opinion... When John Richards palyed and singed with them... Now that dean has come they play some crappy Black/Death music that i do not like at all...

I posted this mainly because of graveworm's post on the "User photo gallery" topic which was :

You guys should go listen to some real music. Really, Immortal's good, but there's actually better.
And also because people might want to post some of their own music... If they feel like it I hoped that they could post it here (I noticed that JXQ is making Rap and that many people apprecaited the fact that he posted some songs...) I took the opportunity to talk about my own genre and to post some bands I like... And if anyone wanted to debate about "real music" they could have done it here... Maybe I didn't choose a good topic name and it should be renamed... Or If anyone thinks that I was wrong to post this topic then just lock it...

As Randil suggested, I create a new topic to speak/debate (or whatever you want) on music and to know a little the tastes of each one of us... So I begin... I mostly listen to metal and especially black metal (I have a wide library of Black Metal mp3s on my PC). My favorite bands would be the following for those who know : - Immortal - Ondskapt - Funeral Mist - Alghazanth - Watain - (Old) Thyrane However... I do also listen to classical music as I play the piano and to electro-jazz... Of course Mega Man music is one of my favorite style as well ;) There some other bands that I really appreciate such as Queen, The Dresden Dolls, Smashing Pumpkins... I can't stand techno and I really do not like Rap, Reggae, House, Trance...etc That's a good overall view of my tastes... I hope that a music topic hasn't been done before... And now you should be able to post photos in the suitable topic...

In fact there's always better considering the fact that each one of us has different tastes... Immortal are, according to me, a really good BM band... However I really like a lot of other bands... I'm not trying to define a scale of values... There are bands that I like and others that I dislike... And I do not think that there is some kind of "real music" (nor does "true" black metal exists in my opinion...) I like some other music style like Zer0... and I think he is right... Only note that I can't stand techno music...

I'm studying, I work in a french company of telecommunication... Beside that my main hobbies are the following : Playing the piano, playing the bass guitar in a metal band with some friends (and playing the keys sometimes), watching animes and reading mangas... I also like web design... I'm also into MTG card game... and sometimes I play RPG (especially Vempire TM...), the rest of the time is spent with my girlfriend... That's how my life is going right now... and I hope that it won't change (or not so much) because I like it as it is...

Finished the very first level (intro level) got a time of 0'46'' according to the in-game timer... After having watched it I realized that the small choregraphy I perform while fighting the boss is quite ridiculous :D I think that i'll follow Mike Uyama's boss order, and more particularly, i'll begin with Polar Kamrous... I've tried to combo many moves thanks to the savestates that Mike gave me but nothing seems to work except the charged slash - triple slash thing... And I won't get anything but the rise form... i have discussed about that with Mike... The jumping rolling slash of the active form can only hit once and is useless and it does not improve the dashing speed... while the last slash of the rise form deals an extra 2 damage... Here is for the planning... shall let you know about the progress... I'm going to analyze some levels to see if shortcuts are available mostly thanks to the chain rod... And if anyone knows some glitches that could save time, I'd please to learn about them...

Getting a star was not my objective... I'm still very glad that it has been published... I did this run because i'm a great fan of megaman and I wanted to see runs for the MMZ series... Though you're right there are no glitches (or so few and so small) in this MM series... But it was expectable... GBA is a little more advanced than NES :P I agree this you that the "cutscenes" are boring and annoying and long and boring... moreover they are repeated too often... Though I think that it still makes an interesting run to watch because dashing speed is quite fast and gives the game a good pace... Moreover this run is not as perfect the ones on the NES (or SNES). It still has some parts that can be improved... Though I think it won't be so easy to improve it... And I do not feel like redoing it right now... Though If people find this run entertaining, then my goal is reached :)

Watched it... Quite well played indeed !!! Is the mistake you were talking about, the fact that you went to the fairy fountain a second time needlessly??? Longing to see another WIP... good luck

Hmm... would it be that interesting to make a 100% run of this game on GBA... Are the differences with the Snes versions that big? I cannot say as i didn't play the GBA version and i'm not sure to have understood all your description...

Yeah MMZ3 is very annoying concerning the cutscenes that can't be skipped and that are numerous mostly at the beginning of the game... thx...
