That was a very nice way to start my afternoon off. I never thought we would see another improvement to this game! I suppose I should never expect anything in this community to be perfect!

I would deffinately like to see #2. I would rather be more entertained than to save a couple minutes on an already very long movie.

As everyone else has stated, the leveling can get tiresome. Leveling up was one of the worst parts in this game back when I played it on the NES. As someone mentioned before, this is not your typical Turn-Based RPG style of gameplay, and seems more closely related to Secret of Mana if anything. I feel the leveling does not hinder the run too much mostly because of the change of scenery every time the author chose a good spot to gain EXP. These sequences are certainly much easier to watch than a typical RPG battle intro, selecting menu options, the "you win!" message, and then repetitive messaging after each battle. I think that the boring parts are easily outweighed by the many glitches and tricks used in this movie (I kept asking myself why he didnt kill the bug boss in the swamp and had to go read the description to finally understand). I would like to see this movie published but should deffinately come with a warning in the description that explains that "Leveling up is required to advance through the game and can be slow. Fast forwarding or skipping these sections while watching the movie is suggested."

I am curious in 8-10 right at the end, why do you create a 3rd block on the bottom? is that faster than just removing the block next to the center wall and pushing the block you are left standing on?

Which rom did you use the IPS patch on? I have tried quite a few but keep getting a CRC mismatch

The only games I could ever play by ear, were rhythm games. In DDR, I could full combo So Deep on Heavy difficulty with my back to the screen Guitar Hero, I had a few songs memorized, but never full combo'd them. I could consistantly 5 star them though without looking. This video was from a while ago, and wasn't my greatest performance. Between having a camera on me and them wanting me to act like I was "rocking out," I had difficulty with timing. Also, i prefer to sit down and not stand. http://www.games.net/video/bts/102300/greatest-guitar-hero-player-in-the-world/

Deffinate yes. Runs like this that make absolutely no sense are always entertaining to me. Watching a game, that I know alot about, being broken always gives me goosebumps. Hopefully no obsoletion of old run, but a new category instead

Wow. Great job on the run! However, I had no idea how annoying 2 hours of listening to Kazooie could be >< If it wasn't for how much I love the music in this game, I would have turned the sound off.

Man, I love April 1st. This puts "Desert Bus For Hope" to shame.. It is even worse that only someone crazy can even verify the input in real time ><

Loved the run. Certainly brings back memories of the countless hours I spent to finally beat this game, only to find I needed to play through the entire game again. Good times. Autoscrollers were also pretty entertaining to me

Great run! I vote publish as a seperate run. Alot of the reason I enjoy watching TASs of RPGs is that you get to see a massive game completed rather quickly and still get a sense of the story and what is going on. This run seems like it would fit better as a "glitched" publish alongside the full game.

Enjoyed the run. Glad the game was completed this time around instead of going through the game once and leaving it. The auto scroll wasn't too boring but could have used a little more entertainment.

I vote for the freezing glitch ending that hanzou posted.
I agree. The freeze glitch would add more entertainment value to me than simply dying or even grabbing the sword to beat the game.

This was one of my favorite games back in the day. I managed to beat every level in the game figuring out my own strategies. It was very exciting for me to see alternative ways of completing very difficult levels. Thanks for this, and great run!

Some of the auto-scroll section was pretty tedious, as well as waiting for the some of platforms to appear. The wall jumping while waiting for a few of them helped though. Other than that, good run. I never did beat this game back in the day, the ending made me chuckle

Great run, nice improvements. I did not like the choice of camera angle at the end of BitFS. The rest was superb. Yes vote

Finally got around to patching and watching. The first few levels seem incredibly slow to me. Nothing going on that I haven't seen in a hack made by your average person. I got a lot more into it during 1-6 and 1-8. In the end, there was not too much else that stuck out to me as fun to watch. I vote Meh on the grounds that there are a couple fun levels with creative paths that you took, but still so many dull levels.

Sword of truth series or the wheel of time series. They are both great books, but they are long, intense fantasty books (none of the books are under 600 pages, and some of them push the 900 limit). There are 11 out in both series and are great reads, but only get them if you like fantasty (like elves and trolls and such).
I was going to say the exact same thing. I highly recommend the Sword of Truth series! A good way to describe the books would be Harry Potter for adults. Terry Goodkind does not hold back in how graphic the descriptions of death, torture, and pain are.

Great run, great write-up, great yes vote. I thought the pausing would be more distracting when I was reading the submission notes, but in the end, after a few fights, I didn't even notice it while watching.
