Definitely Yes vote. I was VERY entertained by all the movie. Great new glitches, like carrying 2 or more items, or carrying while riding Yoshi. Not so many deaths, and most of them are really interesting, fun, and totally unexpected by the first time you watch. I also liked killing the Big Boo, the slime-ball thing, and Bowser's iron ball :) The movie is pretty similar to a Speed Run, it's very dynamic and straightforward, exploring great tricks on the way nonetheless.

Reading the author's description of te movie, I see I should give it a "no" for giving SCIV's Graphics a Genesis game, call its music "gay techno" and complain the whip swinging, hich was a lot cool! Just kidding... but SCIV IMHO sucked ass, my only complaint is the abuse of 8-directional whip swing, and Simon's sprite, which just appear to be a silly action figure. Other than that, the game rules everything XD Oh, and about the "godmodeknockback thing", are you talking about the Invincibility Jar? [ ]'s

Yes vote. Very wel-done. Didn't catch how Richter used the Item Crash AFTER the movie end, but it's fun and interesing, nonetheless.

Thanks Sir VG. It woked now, with the same ROM, oddly enough. Hell YESSS! Too bad I could watch it only now, after coming ack rom travel. Some things that catched my attention: - Slipping through walls while waiting Rush Search to do his job - Surfing with the Ice weapon at Dynamoman's stage - Listening to the theme of King's BGM stage 3 only just before fighting Magicman :P - The death skips And much more.... amazing run!

Best part for me is getting to the boss at level 1 without any Emeralds :P Great improvement. Yes vote.

Which wmulator was used? I tried snes9x 1.43+v9, but it didn't work. By the way, it would be interesting to include on the table of data (Console, Game Name, ROM Filename etc) the version of the emulator used, since some authors forget to tell it by the description.

Well, watched it. Some glitches and parts are really interesting and fun, and I'd reccomend anyone to view it. The probably best part is the shell-kicking in mid air at World 6. However I feel a bit disappointed to some points. Firts out, I was REALLY expecting a Frog Mario battle against a Boss. Frog Mario kicking ass would be great, especially after viewing world 3's Fortress. Frog Mario is maintained till almost the end of world 3, why not beat world 3's boss with it? Apart from that, the run is too long for a yes. It can't be interesting enough in every single level, so I believe it would be smarter to pick up at least two whistles (level 1-3 in addition would work), and skipping some worlds. Now there are some tricks I don't remember to have seen in the speed run. Pobably they could save a LOT of time, the moonwalker thing and the use of Hammer Mario at the boss fights, for example. Passing through walls, wall-jumping, using shells in advantage could also be great time-savers. So, now I'm really expecting an amazing speed run. Oh, I voted meh, BTW.

Voted yes. The previous run was awesome, and that one simply pull off the game to it's limits. The bogus bonus stages were greatly improved too.

Voted meh, since the movie's already accepted. After watch NifBoy's run, this one just don't seem to do the work. I hate when some very cool movie is obsoleted by one less entertaining. Still, it has it's merits, and IS technically better made. I still think Niffy's run should stay at the list of the official runs, but referring to a different mode, being "aims for the shortest time with the restriction of not being hit". Non-hit runs are cool, and Niffy's was great.

I'm not a major analyzer of minuncious physics of games, so it's plenty hard to me to desincourage a publication by pointing something like "too much 6x combos made the run slower than if more simple chains were used". My very and only criteria to a yes vote is how much stared I was, and in this case the answer is: DAMN A LOT ^^ Voting yes.

OK OK now that everyone settled things, I may ask for some help. I can't find the correct ROM for this movie. I tried the ROM's with the following names: Castlevania (U) (PRG0) [!].nes Castlevania (U) (PRG0) [b1].nes Castlevania (U) (PRG1).nes Castlevania (U) (PRG1) [b1].nes Castlevania (KC).nes None of them worked. PRG0's desynched soon after the zombies appeared, PRG1's desynched at the start of level 2. KC showed no checksum errors, but desynched the vfery same way PRG1. =( By the way, all of these roms were extracted from Castlevania.7z, 700KB, 56 files. I can't tell from which site i took it for policy reasons, but I hope someone has a clue. My e-mail is zakatos@gmail.com. Thanks for now! C'ya

(Po o cara não sabe brincar, aí...) Sorry for the portuguese comment, I couldn't help making it. Is there any reason why this was still not published AND starred?

Now some point I realized, if a pure run was acheived, that would imply on avoiding as many gems as possible, as they take extra frames for score tallier. Althought it would seem possible to avoid most gems without losing time, it would be very unaesthetical to do so in some stages (eg first level with the bike).

This game looks to be a crappy variation of Contra 3, but it has its unique and interesting features. I'm not familiar with it, but found it rather enjoyable, must try a play when i had the time. About your run: in 2-2 you shot some obstacles yet thay're not destroyed, why? It would be smoother if you just shoted the ones you're going to blow. Also, in the water levels, it could just be me, but you appear to be stuck in certain rock ledges. I didn't vote, but if i needed to choose i certanly had chosen Meh. Also, i really didn't care about the 100% gems as the primary objective. If everything that don't concern taking 100% gems are optimized to the faster possible run, it's OK to me. But a "pure" run would be worth trying as well.

Sorry if my question sounds stupid, but why do you keep sliding while on top of the Super Arrow? In theory, this should not influencie tha arrow's speed, or am I missing something? Is there something to do with screen scrolling?

Sorry if my question is stupid, but is there any chence of making VBA run at 60 fps (like it was done on FCEU)? It would be a lot cooler if we could watch this with that smooth.
