Can you explain, what is the "recent attitude" that you speak of?
I have felt that you have had an apparent mood shift since around the time of that "xebra incident" (not that I am saying it was caused by that). I just figured you were in some sort of "funk" lately. I don't think I am the only one to observe this. Just though you should probably be aware (since you seem to suggest you aren't aware).

But your attitude conveys that you see the members of this community as resources instead of people, and replacable at any time - except for a select few. That pisses me off greatly, and there's no "fix" for it, no matter how many ways you ask. It's hopeless. Are we all replacable? Yes, very much so. The concept of TAS will live on. But as I told you in PM, reminding people of this fact in your position is a straight dickhead move.
Agreed. It pisses me off too and I have observed and felt this by more situations than just the SDW submission. There is a general lack of appreciation for "new" people and there contributions. TASes as well as emulator updates or new rerecording platforms.

Excellent job. The fact that this game can be beaten without a single item is so absurd. I love it. I also am glad it worked out to be possible on the U version. I give this a big yes vote and vote that it be a 3rd category (low%) for this game.

Just watched this submission. It looks very well optimized. I enjoyed it. I intended to vote yes, but I may have unintentionally voted no :/

Having not seen either of these new submissions, based on the published movie I think that this game is so boring that only a warpful run deserves to be published, if even that.
A warpless movie would only save about 1 minute and warping happens to not be very interesting to watch in this game. If we can only have one movie, I vote for the warpless (this may be the first time I have every thought that ;P). Also, I find the game interesting. It is like bubble bobble but with out the ridiculous wait times between levels and far shorter & less repetitive. The two player aspect is also interesting to watch.

This run would be much faster if you used 2 players instead of 1. Plus, I think it would look more entertaining. Would both a warped run and a non-warped run be accepted on this site? If only the fastest run (the warped run) would be accepted it would feel kinda stupid that I'm working on a non-warp run that would be obsoleted by a warped run, when it comes out, anyway. Or is a non-warp run more entertaining to watch?
I've been debating that too. Honstely I am not sure. The game isn't a terribly entertaining game and rather obscure. Maybe 2 runs isn't justified? Though warping itself isn't terribly interesting in this game so maybe there is merit for a warpless run. This question certainly deserves discussion, especially if someone is working on a warpless movie.

This videos were apparently done on the E Version of the ROM that has apparent differences in the timing of the clock. He beats bald bull for instance at 8"19 but that is a time that isn't even possible on the U ROM. The clock goes 8"18 8"20. The stat used is identical but on the E rom the clock ticks 0"01 less, somewhere around the 8 second mark. I suspect the timing differences is the reason for the other small improvements. Mad clown and Super Macho Man have a strat change as well it seems. I'll see if those strats can work on the U version (though it is quite possible they don't). EDIT: I was incorrect about mad clown, it seems to be the same strat but timing differences. Super Macho man has 1 slight difference, a left face punch instead of a left gut punch which is 1 frame faster. While this gets him dizzy on the E rom, it doesn't on the U rom. So even the dizzy meter is effected by the timing differences. So none of these strats are usable on the U rom.

I'm gonna vote 'no' to this because some attempts you just wasted in order to get it over and done with like the javelin and high jump. You should never throw such things in a way just becuase you feel in may bore the audience. Do something creative even if its falling marginally short by the oposite angle. For example in javelin try throwing the javelin so it stays airborne the longest without getting the bonus, or clear the bar in extreme ways.
1) I don't waste any attempt in the high jump. I did a good attempt, a bad attempt, then a worse attempt. This was intentional. Perhaps you don't find this the most entertaining option, and that is valid. I can't please everyone when it comes to something that subjective. But it isn't fair to say I waste an attempt. 2) Re: javelin through. I guess technically you could say I "waste" attempt 3. But I look at it as me choosing the most entertaining (least unentertaining) thing I could do for attempt 3. Longest attempt without getting a bonus is not a good goal. No one would no this is what is happening which would make it look very arbituary, and more like I wasted it. And, the bonus is achieved by hitting the ceiling, not by length. I could do a normal throw I guess. But how far, and why? I don't want to seem random. If I were going to do it, it would have to be a 44 or 46 degree throw which would make a very very long throw (like the high score one). I didn't feel it was worth it in this case.
Also wouldn't 2 players make a good option?
Two players would be nice for the dash and the 110 hurdles, but in the other 6 events, the players must take turns. That is 3 tries for each player. I think this would do more harm than good. 6 tries is going to be repetitive especially when there isn't must to do in each event.

Why does the AVI not have the whole screen showing and also why is that static electricty noise in the background?
1) Indeed the screen does have the bottom chopped off a litte. I guess through ingorance of the game, I didn't notice until you pointed it out and I compared the avi to mupen. This was caused by using a large screen resolution for the capture. What is missing is the segment of emulator window that was covered by the windows toolbar. Odd that it wouldn't capture that part. Looks like I will need to lower the resolution in the future. 2) I guess by static electricity you mean the crackle-type sounds. At first I figured it was compressed artifacts. But I looked into this and it turns out it is digital audio clipping. The mupen emulator was producing the sound at too high a level. At this moment in time I do not know how to change those volume levels.

TMNT3 is so boring to me. But this movie is much less boring than the published 1 player movie. It is also well executed. I vote yes that this obsolete the 1 player movie.

Outstanding. The return list glitching suprised me a lot Oo The luck manipulation was stellar as usual. Amazing how such an unforgiving RNG can be manipulated so well. I know it was unintentional, but major style points for glitching Viron's name to V ron. Much cooler XD I was a proponent of a glitched run obsoleting the published movie. But that is when I thought it would be just glitching a few orbs into the inventory. This skips most of the game. As such, it deserves its own category. Encoding in process.
