I'm not sure of the nutrients but I no that the white ones are good ol grade A american eggs. Interestingly, french prefer the brown ones.

Fabian, I'm glad you asked. I recommend.... EGGS! quick and easy and full of nutrients. I reccomend white ones personally.

I disagree, you should have something with a lot of protein, to give you the energy to keep going until lunch. Some sort of high protein breakfast food that is quick and easy to make is ideal.

I read that the ear lobes of chickens determines the color of their eggs (brown or white). White lobeed chickes lay white eggs, brown lobed lay brown eggs. The common belief of the feather color comes from the fact that experts thought that commoners would have a hard time believing that chickens had ear lobes.

I said before, it's because of timing. It would mess up the rolls if I don't do that.
aww, that sucks. But that if that is what you have to do then I that is ok. Yes vote. Also, I think this is way more entertaining than your sub30 run. So as cool as it is and as much as I hate to say it, you agree you should cancel that one. I do think it will the highest quality run that fails to make it on the site :)

why the *#! do you set the cpu back to relax just before the input ends? I know you are competing for fastest input time but why INTENTIONALLY make the total avi time longer? Other than that, this is excellent. The new strategy is even more creative and the hurry mode makes the TAS a lot better.

1 more boss fight to go! So far it looks good. Seems like you have done a good job planning and testing various methods. I'm glad you were able to find some time saving spots to use magic and transforms. Those really helped with the overall entertainment in addition to being faster. Too bad the fish guy couldn't be useful. That last boss made sure was ugly, it made me wonder if there wasn't a better way to do it but I have no ideas as to how. Energy is a very limited resource in this game. You were able to manage it very well and take all the damage you could and pick the most profitable places. Good work. Assuming the last boss goes decent, this will be an easy yes vote for me :) EDIT:
Well, now I have to get ready for that miniboss that's harder than the final boss.
No, sh*t! What is up with that mini boss being exponentially harder than the final boss? I always thought that was weird about the game. I spend many hrs/days/weeks trying to beat that damn mini-boss.

congrats Mr. Soup. You just saved this submission's life. After discussion with Bisqwit, the possbility of one game obsoleting another is on the table provided that both games are very similar. So two questions need to be answered: 1) How similar are these games actually? (they appear similar but I haven't played either very much) 2) Do you find this run MORE entertaining than the RR1 run? I'd like to hear some feedback on these issues, especially from a) those who have already voted, b) those who are familiar with both games

I still don't really understand all the features on the emulator, like the save slots, so I just went to Save State As... and Load State From... everytime I saved or loaded a savestate (I'm assuming there's a more efficient way to do it). My first run used 1277 savestates and my final run used 1240 savestates.
Holy crap :O You can just hit F5 & F7 (default keys) to quickly savestate & loadstate. press any of the 0-9 keys to select a save slot. This should save uber-time when making a TAS.

I mean during your input time. The first time you open a menu, you should set computer to hurry while you are at it. It should save loads of time, especially where they have to pay money since they skip over the bills going into the cash register.

Do you know that there is a "hurry" mode for the cpu? In the short 1 opponent runs, it probably isn't worth scrolling through the menu. In this run however, there are a lot of cpu actions and it might save time overall.

Abadox isn't the most interesting autoscroller by far, but at least it isn't as bland as the aforementioned Gradius, or some other autoscrolling games, runs of which are already published here.
The "there are worse games published here" argument is never a good one for publishing a game. Honestly, this game is too much like gradius. Though this game is more entertaining that gradius, the run fails to morimoto's. I am voting no.

If this were optimized, I would still vote no. We already have a gradius submission, we don't need another.

Actually, I did start it, but didn't get very far do to only having a keyboard and that a game like this requires a lot of keypresses at once. If you want to work on in it, by all means.

First of all, try to use the most up to date emulator. We are up to 9J now which this movie desync's in. This movie has had lower turn out as others have been lazy like me and not bothered to find the right emulator. For those interested, I found finally found 9f on page 14 of the emulator thread. For some reason vectorman TASes entertain the crap out of me despite the fact that I have never seen or played the games prior to watching the submission. I looked for possible optimizations and couldn't find any. This run is of good quality as far as I can tell (though I don't know the game as well as some). But it gets a yes vote from me.

Unlike the zelda 2 movie, there is some gameplay in here too. But I will let that slide this time :p Easy yes vote.

The timing is different with 2-players, a jump was necessary to the the R updgrade for player 1.

here is my new wip. After much testing, I have concluded that 2 players with spread guns is suboptimal due to lag & the fact that each players bullets interfere with each others. My best choice is 1 player with the regular gun and 1 with the spread. This meant redoing lv 1 unfortunately. Hero of the day found a way to start the game 3 frames earlier which I incorporated. 2nd, I got a rapid fire for each player this time. Finally I beat the first level boss 4 frames earlier with the new weapon strategy. Also, as evidenced in the wip, I figured out how to get the single line of bullets with the spread gun. As of the destruction of the first room in lv 2, I am 15 frames ahead of genisto's run. enjoy.

Yes please :D Fortunately that screen shot shows all the types of punches thrown in the fight. It looks like you did the same number of each type of punch that Phil did. (of course it could be different combinations of left or right punches, gut or faces punches). Pehaps I am just missing something.

Voting no. If these times can be matched anyway by a normal player, why even bother? It's good, but not good enough. Sorry.
I wouldn't say a normal player. I am talking about top notch "speed runners". And this does not mean that the fights can be improved but rather a human can recreate the best possible fight.
