So far it seems to me that all improvements are caused only by the version change.
Cheetah, if the improvement is caused by a strategy change rather than a rom change, chances are the author would know.

I played through the first world +1.5 levels of this game and was not impressed. The game is hard simply for the sake of being hard, the levels look like a bunch of sprites shot-gunned into a level editor, and I don't like the colors. Things that were added in to make the game seem new and improved, such as the death shrooms, the shells you have to bounce on twice to stop, and the block-activating-switch didn't seem to enhance the quality of play. It just seemed like they were put in because they thought adding new features would make their game a good hack or something, without regard to why they picked the features they did.

I got a time of 1:25 using the timer found here. I should be able to improve it by several seconds.
Edit: My best is 1:17, I don't think I'll be able to get much lower than that.
Edit2: 1:15

Just to let everyone know, the official abbreviations for Super NES Control Deck aren't SHVC, SFC, or SNES. The only options are clearly ABS and EXT.
Fabian, when is the party and how do I get to your place?

Possibly because they bought the Game Boy to play games, not to learn about abbreviations, acronyms, or product codes. DMG on this game cartridge seems about as important to me as #PCG0006311310/0#07 on my latest issue of pcgamer. Also, I'd like to show how the Game Boy clearly says DMG. Thankyou, that was very clear, this DMG thing must be super important. Also on the front of the Game Boy it says dot matrix with stereo sound. Clearly dot matrix must be the DM part of DMG which appears on the side of the gameboy, and on the unimportant barcode-esque part of my Game Boy cartridges.
Getting involved with a Game Boy. A device to play games and pass time during long trips in the car or at band concerts my brother plays in. It all makes sense to me now, I must have been an idiot not to notice this before. Thank you for teaching me about the Game Boy.

The guidelines might help. Here is a link to it for your convenience. Pay special attention to the "Be quick," "Do something unexpected," and "Be interesting" sections. Also, feel free to make your own run without glitches and submit it.
