So...is there any reason it uses the novice difficulty? Is this trick exclusive to there?

It is now possible to do 'game end glitch' in 5-6 minutes on console under RTA conditions. It uses an RTA-friendly setup not seen in any TAS so far. Watch it here: http://www.twitch.tv/sethbling/c/5926745
Not exactly related, but this has been bugging me for a while. With all the twitch links, does anyone actually submit to SDA anymore, or are all records mostly on private twitch/youtube channels scattered all over the web?

Uh...this was putrid. If not for the graphics and sound I would've swore it was some crappy flash/windows game made in a day. This game is awful, and the comments by MESHUGGAH above just makes me really curious how does anyone make a TAS that different (and/or more entertaining) than this.

Hey, with all these (new) tricks, it would be really helpful if this page was updated. :)

You can access the pizza mission before the doctor connor mission starts. It may save you some backtracking. Also while ascending walls, like in the tutorial section, it may be faster to continuously jump then sprint up the wall. That way you will have full sprint speed... I may be wrong and jumping might be faster. I've never tested it.
I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but the pizza part seems skippable by attempting to do a delivery while on a mission. Oh, and speaking of skipping, the game oddly considered me having completed the "Meet Aunt May at the bank" checkmark when instead of activating the marker on top of the building I went inside the bank. I'm not sure if it's some one time only thing or could this be done consistently to skip the bank fight though. Edit: So...I managed to get up to chapter 11 again, and it seems the bank is locked this time when attempting to enter. Further more the blue dot can't exactly be gotten rid of. Triggering the blue dot however does check off the list though. I wonder if there's some way to skip the blue dot; Maybe save/reloading on a certain frame (like that password bug)?

Uh...since the previous route was in vault, does this really need a new branch? Edit: Also, I read the title as "Adams Family, The Death Abuse" as the name of the game >.>

Edit2: Saved 126 frames on abacus stage alone. Also discovered with Hammy and RJ (but not Verne), you can preserve the walking speed in midair by letting go of forward input. I believe it may be possible to save more frames, but using a different behaviour pattern for the dog caused me to drop the abacus too far into the room when I go OoB.
Upon further testing it applies to Verne as well. Also even more annoying it that this applies every time I'm midair while moving, so I ended up improving at least 2-8 frames every stage including the transitional ones. I'm once again stuck manipulating the calculator lock combination, but I have a feeling I can delay entering the stage to manipulate as well rather than playing it a different order. Edit: Delay entering the stage doesn't seem to work.

Fortunately the dumb AI never seems to exchange tiles and will simply pass when it can't play anything.
You played on "Novice" setting. Is that still true for higher?

And then several others do this and end up all tying. ;) Edit: Or they all get beaten by someone who completed 1 mindblowing movie instead lol

Bumping with new info. The game doesn't actually end where the TAS video ends. The goal of the game is to achieve the rank of champion. Every 3 fights, you get a symbol on the lower right, every 5 symbols you move on to the next set. After 45 symbols (or 145 fights), you reach the rank of champion. Just thought I let you all know in case someone wants to make a proper TAS.
Hey, now I just wonder how possible is it to copy paste the input 145 times.

Hey is this 100% or is there more of the game to be completed? It's not tagged as such.

endrift, Can you please also check what's missing in emulation that causes the sign glitch to be undoable on other emulators?

DID YOU SEE THE GBA IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS? Or are you to fixated on one platform?
PCSX doesn't load movie with BIOS.
If the problem is somehow related to Bios counting towards the frame count, I don't think judges would reject a BizHawk movie solely because it didn't skip the bios and thus become slower.

Have you made a bug report on the issue tracker? That may get more devs attention.

The problem is that there is no established ending point that I know of for any shorter run to be considered a legit category. "Fastest crash" didn't count.
Could an argument be made for putting it in the demonstration category?
That could be a problem if more one button games get submitted, or mobile games becoming accepted.

Well, even in games with a percent tracker 100% can be rather hard to decide. For example, in Kirby Super Star Ultra, beating Helper to Hero with every character doesn't increase the percent counter, but it unlocks a cutscene.

Uh...you slowly wander around a shop, enter it, and game ends. Sorry, no vote. Also hard reset causes BizHawk to reboot the core? How often did that occur and how frustrating was it?

So, while this has been happening for a while now, I decided to ask after failing to find an answer. From this table I made, values start at a ratio of 0.000244, before somehow diverging further; some of the values even end in odd numbers despite the fact 244 is even. Can anyone please explain how exactly does this system work?

Finally had time to watch it. Kinda sad only 2 of the fights were done without pinning down, but oh well.

Regarding whether or not it can be done in real time as a criteria, there's things like Pokemon RNG abuse. It's used often to get perfect stats and/or shinies a lot faster than soft reset over and over. I think that situation still makes Pokemon Emerald "heavy luck manip", since the frame precision to get everything perfect is unfeasible.

100% would include completing all Zess T. recipes, getting to level 30 with Mario, completing the Pit of 100 trials, and getting all badges.
I thought it was just completing all the sidequests (the rogueport help thing) and getting everything listed on the pause menu (what you mentioned + shine sprites, star shards, levelling all partners, getting that up arrow to level even more, tattle, and possibly others) Actually now that I think about it, for the tattle, which ones appear in the trashcan and which ones don't? Do the YuX's appear there? Iirc the green ones dont appear later after the the last chapter. Same with the mini yux and gordos's yux things.

Hey I'm not sure if it would ever lead to larger discoveries, but I did this glitch at chapter 4 after Rhino https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pa9PlnpKTgM then completed a pizza mission to turn back to spider man. I was able to proceed through the game again except the minimap and LP bar disappeared. I thought nothing of it, but then at the chapter 6 while I was going to MJ's apartment I suddenly froze in midair near the daily bugle. I could still move the camera and use the map, but I seem frozen in midair. Also half the city failed to load and resulted in large areas of darkness.
