Well you have to jump when the tank is turning around. You will also take a lot of damage so plan for that so you can get health powerups.

Hey I watched your run and it's a good start for your first TAS run. (it was the first game I tased too)
There are some things I need to nitpick about though.
-First off, it's possible to skip the big tank at the beginning instead of slowly killing it:

-Second, at this point:
I'm positive walking off the platform is faster than jumping.
-Also, stop jumping to get on every ladder. To my recollection there are only two places it actually saves time:
1) Beginning, near end of the level.
2) 2nd level (nice find BTW)
It wastes time for kyle to crouch and then jump. By the time he reaches the ladder, you could potentially be higher by running.
Other than that I don't have much to say. There were entertaining parts, and you managed to beat my time by 25 secs.

Unless there's a way to exploit the glitch and finish the game faster, it has 0 chance of being published...
The main point of a MORTAL KOMBAT tas is entertainment. you know like ai manipulation and such. sure the fights have to be pretty fast but they dont have to be the absolute fastest.

Finally done with the MM1 part and can start with MM2. I am 46.3 sec ahead then the previous full-run post and 69.7sec faster then my last run.

Hmm...you pause against the second angler fish for damage. At this point you could switch weapons again to Quick Boomerang, and kill the second two frogs with it, then pause later to switch back to Metal Blade. That should eliminate a pause, right?
Certainly looks better than last time, though. What's the frame improvement for this stage?
Ah I've been waiting for this run and it's awesome.
There were a lot of great tricks and maneuvers. But the final battles were filled with ownage. I love seeing them TASed this way as opposed to Shyrokening them to death.

In the vertical sections, you're walking off of ledges instead of jumping off them. Wouldn't jumping increase your falling speed, getting you to the next screen sooner?
I'm not sure if that rule applies in Wily wars

No. Why? Because I need to use my buster to shoot the snake like things instead of getting hurt since they inflict major damage.

Oh, I just remembered to ask, did you find out whether it's faster to have Rolling Cutter for ElecMan or to have Magnet Beam and Thunder Beam for CutMan? Frenom's run went GutsMan-ElecMan-CutMan, while yours went GutsMan-CutMan-ElecMan, so you should be able to make such a comparison now.

Gutsman:3rd boss, goes down with 3 Hyper bombs.
Cutman: goes down with 2 Gut Arms.
Elecman: way faster, goes down with 3 Rolling cutter.
GutsMan-ElecMan-CutMan
Gutsman: First boss, no Hyper bomb, takes 14 Mega Buster Shots.
Elecman: No rolling cutter=SLOW boss battle, takes 28 mega buster shots.
CutMan: Slightly faster battle, the trick with thunder beam is pretty unique.
Over all, even though I don't have the magnet beam early, it's still faster to beat Fireman First and go down the line of Robot Masters, weakness to weakness. Plus Fire Storm works wonders against most small enemies.
