i'm sorry i was originally unclear... i downloaded the mupen64 emulator from its main website, not a "TAS-enabled" version if there is a such a thing? the one i downloaded doesn't have the functionality i assumed it would to allow the creation of TAS videos... however, it does properly allow me to play the game i was asking if there is a verison of the TAS N64 emulator that works on MacOSX, and if anyone had any experience installing it ...

hiii i saw a tas video on youtube like 2 days ago and want to make my own, but am using a mac have downloaded mupen64 and have multiple *.z64 files of SM64 (there were 27 in a *.7z file - is there a consensus best one by name?) anyway, i can get them to play with no problem, but i was wondering if i'll be able to go forward from here... it seems like there is a specific version of the emulator used for making TAS videos with the TAS features... will this work on MacOSX? its been years since i've used linux ... if it will work could anyone give me a quick list for installation and getting started? also, i assume most people use USB controllers? do you know where can i get one that will work with a mac/TASemulator combo?
