Ouch, sorry about that. I'll fix the filenames accordingly :)
Also, I know that the authors' names should be separated by a comma, but Rapidshare doesn't allow for that, so I had to use an underscore instead.
I really liked this one! I was about to give it a very high vote for entertaining, but I ended up voting only 8.5 because of those boring parts where you have to destroy the bricks with the green guy's bomb. Sometimes I think that the programmers just have nothing better to do and insert slow sections for no reason. Still, awesome run, I'd say it's technically great so I voted 9.5 for that.
And, as usual, here's my encode of it. I used a very, very low bitrate in order to make it look almost as bad as the official encodes, hopefully this is a step in the right direction :)
Because I have nothing better to do, and I want to give a chance to watch the movies also to people who either:
Can't set up an emulator
Can't use the horribly seeded torrents to get the official encode
Want to watch the movie with a decent quality
Derakon's reply in the other thread, amongst othersimilarmessagesofappreciation by "regular" forum users are what makes me still want to be helpful in this deep sea of elitism. I don't care if I won't become an official encoder (like you just did, congratulations on that), I will keep on making encodes as long as at least one person will say "thank you". Besides, the stats I'm getting on Rapidshare prove that I'm right, because as of now there have been 192 people who downloaded my encodes, as a proof that my work is NOT useless, even if someone tries to pretend it is.
My goal is to be helpful to the community, and those numbers are speaking for me. You may like or dislike me, but I'm not going to stop because of few people.
edit: see what I meant? The post below just gave me more motivation :)
I am not useless so stop pretending I am!
Voted 10 for Tech Quality. Didn't vote for Entertainment.
And here's the usual encode from me. This was so short I bumped up the quality a bit, the file is tiny anyway.

Here is an encode of this movie.
Also, let me mention most of the times I look slower than possible it's because I'm planning to do something else in the near future, maybe to allow myself to take a better path or just to manipulate luck. Yes, I know that sometimes my moves seem odd, but it has to do with enemies' behaviour and how them relate to your X and Y positions, which is why sometimes I climb on a ladder just to get down a few frames later. Of course I'm not saying that my paths aren't improveable, but I think I managed to get good paths and strategies most of the times, especially when I had to deal with the limited amount of attacks (sometimes going to get a reful was longer than using a dodging strategy).
The only exception to this rule is at the very end, when I wait for all the enemies to stand on the last slice of bread before pushing it down: this is completely unnecessary and I'm willing to cut it out from the movie file if requested, but I added it as a single speed/entertainment tradeoff, because in my opinion it suggests a better "you've beat the game, you killed all the enemies" feeling.
I voted 8.8 for entertainment, but I didn't vote for technical because I'm not familiar with this game. It doesn't matter anyway, as this run has been recently accepted.
Here is an encode of this, even though I'm starting to lose the hope to become an official encoder :\

Sure I can try, but I'm not very good at luck manipulation. Do you happen to have a savestate of that level? I don't really feel like playing all the levels up to that one.
Still, I would be glad to be of some assistance :)
Since this movie has been accepted, I made an encode of it. Enjoy.
Download AVI.

I made an encode of this, and I candidate it for actual publication, as it completely follows the encoder guidelines. In the mean time, I stand by my self-nomination for an encoder (or half encoder) chair.
Here is the link to the AVI.
Also in the Knuckles Chaotix TAS there are cutscenes longer than the actual levels. They shouldn't count that much while evaluating a movie, as one can always fast forward through them.
That probably just requires a html command, as (label)(option button)
All the label-option couples should be wrapped into nobr blocks, imo.
