I think the only reason the camera angles were like this was because they felt it gave Super Mario 64 a new look prior to 'entertaining' the audience. After seeing so many SM64 TASes, I think the new camera angles are something new and fresh that did give the game a new look. Also, saving 3 frames on a run others worked forever on is pretty impressive, in my opinion.

Congrats, Nahoc. This run aimed to 'destroy my childhood' and it did. Definite yes vote.

Yeah, it won't help in New Jersey. Idt it will help in any of Story Mode, sadly. And you're right, MUGG. Scoring high combos in glitched corners is pretty pointless, since you can do it on flat land. ;) But from the looks of it, it sounds like you know what you're doing, so I shouldn't bother explaining that keeping a combo after time runs out will end up sending you back to the area where the goal is at, no matter how far/long the combo lasts...

I'm almost positive that you can do it in both games, but I think you have to go OoB in most areas to do it. And I'm sure you know, but if you don't, you have infinite time to do challenges, so long as you keep a combo going.

I know one glitch that works on both THUG and THUG2, which is the "Set-Restart" glitch. To do this glitch, place a "Set-Restart" marker at an area you'd like to bypass or go through (A thin glass door/wall, an OoB area, etc.) and after gaining some speed, load the marker. If you did it correctly, you should be pushed through the object or invisible wall. I know this glitch may sound useful, but I've found no uses for it yet.

I would watch both 100% and any% TAS, but I think people would prefer an any% TAS. Just a thought.

I see what you mean, but some levels would be interesting to TAS, in my opinion. I'm not too picky when it comes to certain games that are TASed; I'd watch almost any TAS someone made. It's also a way of admiring their work. The only reason I "bumped" to this topic was because I wanted to see if anyone discovered or discussed anything interesting that had to do with this game. Plus, it's not that hard searching through just 4 pages...

Agreed with mmbossman. Your WIP could use some work, but as far as the game goes, I think it's a decent game. It's not as linear as you think, mmbossman. I do believe the game's first few levels are a bit boring, though. As far as TASing this game goes, I say clean your WIP up and do it. :)

If someone has resolved the emulation issues and is currently TASing this game, I found a way to skip Klungo's Cutscene in Spiral Mountain: Link to video And the trick of getting to Wooded Hollow early that was dicsussed by WarPyxis and I is more than likely faster than getting there through Bottles' House. I haven't exactly tested it, but I'm almost positive it is.
