The spinning has a maximum speed, at which you cannot make it spin any faster. During this time, you can stun hands.
Oh.... I thought it only progressed while you were spinning

Fight sequences were amazing. Also, were you able to stop the hands while doing the spin? Is that what I was seeing?

Ok, back for real now. So, I just finished the third level I play in world 2, and I found out you can double jump again after bouncing on an enemy. And that the bouncy balls are crazy hard to get right Here's the current WIP (note: only syncs on XP due to RNG)

No vote for entertainment. Super slow paced, annoying jump sound, and the fact there's not all that much TAS can do for this game.

TAS android you say? Isn't there a Android emulator for android programing that would be able to be reverse enginered into a frame advance one?

In dumping and screenshots it's like that. You have to modify it in video editing to make it sideways (it's not that hard).

Question. Why is the "CHIP" bar so high in most levels, when you need to have the entire bit you didn't use depleted by the end?

I honestly don't know; I know nothing about SMS game code. But it doesn't seem like it would be faster than the memory corruption method. This run is one big setup for the mirror glitch, which occurs as soon as input is ended; there's no waiting period that ACE could circumvent or smaller glitches that could be abused beforehand. If ACE is possible in this game though, it would be fun to see what entertaining things one could do. Also note that however the mirror glitch is achieved, it would probably not be allowed for a full game run, even for getting max level early, because of its ability to warp to the credits.
I'm not asking about faster, I'm asking about possible. Basically, you would need to write a program in memory, which would probably require making an item list and such

It's got to be memory corruption. The mirror glitch is one of those glitches that does different things depending on input and the screen's position. It usually freezes or crashes, but it can also max out your level, warp you to another room, and do other strange things. One of them just happens to be warping to the credits.

So, I'm coming back to working on this movie link EDIT: So, do recall that I previously encountered a bug where, if you complete a level with a score of zero, it doesn't count? Yea. Well, now I have to do 2-1 again, since I ended up with zero score. I either need to
  • Not do kingskip for this level
  • Collect the coin out of the king (which might make kingskip not work)
  • Go an alternate route where I can get coin
I chose not doing Kingskip, as, for some reason, this king doesn't drop a coin, and the score countdown isn't big enough to make up for the cost of going through the level Here's the new movie file

Movie file is up on the wip directory. YT video forthcoming, since the game only syncs on XP EDIT: Link to video EDIT2: Saying the game only syncs on XP is a little misleading. This run only syncs on XP, because XP and 7 have different numbers of lag frames when starting up. Win 7 has more lag starting the game up, so there's a few frames saved due to playing on XP
