I watched every WIP of yours and I must say the run came together very well. Not only is it the first Wii submission we see, but a shining one at that. Obvious yes vote right here!

Holy Batman eating a jar of Ice-cream, this is a goddamn milestone. I'll wait for a full encode, but I see no single reason not to vote yes on this.

I like RT-55J's idea. The actual movie file could end as soon as Wily bites the dust whereas the actual encode also includes the credits.

Oh, I see. Alright then. I'm really excited because of how much the run nears its completion. And it will be glorious

Wonderful work as always, I loved how you exited the lifts section. Just a question about the Block Devil: Couldn't you have used thunder wool in conjunction with the balls to finish him faster? Or is it not worth it?

Congrats on your first submissionn Brandon, it's always a big deal. That being said, I think Crazy Castle makes a very poor game for a TAS, because it is so very limited and long. Technically the run seems very solid, but you still at times have to wait for something or go out of your way to get a boxing glove. There were interesting and neat moments, but they weren't really frequent enough to make it more interesting. Maybe it just is because I never played the game, but I don't really think the run offers enough for its length. I will vote Meh and wish you best of luck for future projects.

Great work as usual. I was worried the kettle segment would be boring and dull, but of course, you proved me so very, very wrong.

So, we really have no better problems than 10 extra seconds at the end (hint: File > Movie > Stop Movie)? I am seriously disappointed. For the record, great run, voting yes

Quite frankly, the entire debate annoys me to no end, and I don't quite understand why it is Germany that is so sensitive about it. I, personally, don't object to nuclear power in itself, as long as it is handled in a responsible and safe fashion (Hint: Chernobyl was not.), which seems to be very well the case in Germany and Europe in general. It certainly is cleaner than oil or coal, and, as those recourses begin to run out/become unaffordable, probably also cheaper. I don't think in the long run our energy needs cannot be sustained by nuclear power, but for the moment, quickly stepping out of nuclear power is unwise and, put simply, ludicriously expensive. Fact is, about 20% of all energy in Germany is generated through nuclear power, so, while it's wise to invest in renewable energies and fusion, once graspable, we can't simply stop all power plants as once, as people seem to demand. Also, I think that Fukushima doesn't exactly work as a good example. The plant was hit with a huge earthquake, followed by a tsunami, things that simply don't happen, at least not on that scale, here in Germany. For the record, the last big incident I've heard of here in Germany was a simple fire in a transformer. No horrible radiation leaks, no kilometer-wide exclusion zones, and yet the fallout (in the media, that is) still was huge, and, in my opinion, fairly overblown.

Wonderful WIP, I loved every second of it. Can't wait for the finished run!

'lo, and welcome to tasvideos, Ansem, enjoy your stay! You might want to read this article, it neatly outlines what TASing is about and what it's like. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask!

To be completely honest, while the zipping is probably the most impressive trick discovered so far, the pausing and switching completely kills it for me. It's probably why I enjoy speedruns of MM10 so much more than those of MM9. Please, for a normal TAS, just use real time.

That run was absolutely great. This must be a hell of a game to plan a route for, let alone optimize it, and I loved it. The damage boosts were once again very nice as were the boss fights. Just one question, why did you end up collecting 418 coins if you didn't have any use for them? Anyway, great movie, votin' yes on this

This of course leads to another fun game: How many publication screenshots can you recognize?

I wouldn't have expected that for most people, the heavy-duty savestates, so to speak, are on the right side of the row. Maybe it's because I like to map my button combination around A and S, but I have a far easier time reaching the left side, which is why I use those keys most.

I see. But what about acceleration? If you hit a refill, do you need to reaccelerate from zero speed? Is there any acceleration in the game to begin with?

I generally plonk down 4 saves like every frame or so. Generally, slots 1 and 2 are for the frame I'm currently at, slots 3 and 4 are for every major achievement. (Note that so much as making a simple jump can be a major achievement), you should also have a slot for the level you start or some other place where you know you can't screw up if you load that save. I typically reserve the last slots for possible outcomes trying out different things (route choices, etc.) ...maybe that's why my only publications are made with openMSX, where I don't use savestates. Anyway, I'm very curious to hear how other people do it as well

I takes too long to refill, especially if you can just manipulate weapon drops instead. Anyway, great work so far, diggidoyo, can't wait till the run is finished.

Watched the encode, and yet once again you tore the game to peices. It was pure and absolute carnage. I absolutely loved this run and every frantic, madness inducing second of it. And now that you didn't use any continues, everyone should be happy, I hope. Voting yes.

What a quirky game. While it's a bit on the slow side, it still had enough in it for me to vote yes.
