I've been playing through this again recently. Dark Force 2 and 3 are really easy when you can manipulate what moves you do. So they will probably end up being the easiest bosses throughout the whole game. Keep it up.

Very nice, I like how you stop and show the story elements that can be skipped, like the statues. I'm very impressed at getting both Juza and the Psycho Wand boss. Love this game, keep up the work.

Hey I'm beginning a run of Elemental Master, an arcade style shoot-em-up for Genesis. If you've played it you probably know it was pretty hard and fast paced. I have the first 2 levels done as a test here. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1388176499/Elemental%20Master%20%28U%29%20%5B%21%5D.gmv Let me know if you think I should finish this off, and if you know of any improvements I can make. Thanks!

I'm in the process of a TAS of Beyond Oasis which has already been done by maTO however he takes damage in his, and skips all of the secret weapons. Right now I have about 6 minutes done of the 100 floor dungeon to get the most powerful weapon in the game. If anyone has played this game before you probably know what I'm talking about. I'll be posting a WIP in a few hours, at work right now so I can't do it yet. Grats to maTO on his run, I was actually worried when I saw his as I have been planning this for a while now, but upon seeing it I realized a 100% run would be longer, but I think still worthy of a TAS. The RNG changes when a menu is open, which makes the manipulation pretty hard and very lenghty because you something have to way a lots of frame to accomplish what you want. I think there's a couple of WIP that you can download and see how it's done. What's the difference between U and J ? I know that J can open chest, and that I think you can lower magic damage with a trick. But other than that, is there any difference ? You should do a WIP of the first battle and see that you think about it. It will probably be a very very very hard game to TAS. Anyway, Good luck, and I hope to see a WIP of this soon :P
IIRC the RNG in the J version was different than the U. Also there is a very easy way to never take any damage just by holding right and c when an enemy attacks, as well as the reduced magic damage. There are rumors of being able to max stats with a glitch by leveling up under the effect of the muddle 2 spell. I have checked and the glitch to move outside of the normal movement range also still exists in the J version. Right now I can't post a WIP but I'll try and get one up of at least the first battle or so tonight.

I'm planning on running a TAS of the Japanese version of SF2 as it has more exploitable glitches and the RNG will most likely actually be abusable. I have no idea how the RNG works or how to use it so I would need help doing so, however I am more than willing to do the actual speedrun if I had help figuring out how to work the RNG. Also, I've been working on a Beyond Oasis 100% speedrun but that would take a break for this. Shining Force 2 has been my favorite Genesis game forever. Let me know if anyone is willing or capable of helping me out. Thanks in advance.
