I do not know clearly what disappearing background is pointing to. But perhaps it is one of the random effects of items called devils? It is a clear MAP, the terrain of the stage, the strange effect that the character's shadow becomes transparent and disappears.

https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm34209994 Clicking this link will lead to a video summarizing the draft chart for completing GoodEnding in Japanese ROM of Bomberman 64: The Second Attack !. It would be greatly appreciated if you could give me some advice after watching the video. I am sorry for my poor English translation. If you can not watch it, download the video from this link. mp4:https://mega.nz/#!cxsnXKgT!xJDDDnfzhZwCeenyoYqxBbpWbnPHjBU5Quv0e5VNxVU

That video is wonderful. I think that it will be a big update if it closes. It seems necessary to investigate the specification of battle mode.

It probably will not affect much. If you think carefully, in battle mode, there may be no difference from ROM other than the speed of legs.

The Japanese version and the overseas version are largely different in specifications and it is difficult to regard them as the same game anymore. I understood that it is faster to use the overseas version, I caught the two as different categories, and played the Japanese version. In the near future, I will try to play with a category called GoodEnding. However, there are problems with reproducibility by the emulator, as update plans are frequently suggested, so completion is likely to be delayed. We look for cooperation.

I posted the same content the other day, but I also post it here. I used Bizhawk to play Baku Bomb 2 (Bomberman 64 the second attack). There were two kinds of last bosses in this game, and in both cases there was an abnormality in the attack pattern which can not be real machine. For example, when an angel is in the second form, he will launch an attack of either fire or lightning on a real machine. However, with Bizhawk, he only attacks flames. If it is an overseas ROM, he seems to be doing only thunder attacks.

That means I need to organize my own script to display the coordinates on the screen or search from the internet? Thank you for answering the questions.

I have a question about the movie file. I am using BizHawk to create movies. The extension of the movie file created by BizHawk is .bk2. I want to convert this bk2 file to m64 file for some reason. I have heard that there is a way to make m64 files into bk2 files. If there is a way to change it to m64, please tell me.

Thank you for quick and accurate advice. Thanks to you, the problem was solved. I opened the bk2 file using Explzh software. Rewritten the contents of Header.txt in the file without decompressing the file.

Excuse me. About BizHawk, there is a point not understood. I do not know how to do movie end. When I close BizHawk with the frame I want to end movie, will it be that movie end is done? Would you also tell me how to change the creator name of the movie file? Is it okay to keep the author name as default?

Please help me. I'm a TAS biggner in Japan. Overlook wrighting in broken English and long sentence. I play Bomberman 64: The Second Attack(Japan version rom) with BizHawk-1.12.1. I retrieved the rom by N64 dumper made in Japan. I'm capturing Lost Planet Alcatraz while manipulating Bomberman and Pommy. Suddenly, they walked to a wrong direction when I entered the right from Virtual pad. For example, if I enter the right, they walk to the below. If I enter the upper left, they walk to the upper right. It looks like they walk 90 degrees off the direction I entered. It seems I am not alone that is suffering from this error. Some people sometimes lose control at all and have no problem at all. I have heard that it will be settled depending on the timing of quick save. Could you tell me the cause and how to solve it?
