Hi, I haven't been active here for a long while. The reason i'm posting tho is because i lost the url for a great page while formatting. Anyways, the page I'm looking for is one with a lot of different RPG records and other cool stuff. Like beating Jecht in FFX without putting out a single point in the sphere grid. Other games where the Tales of Phantasia series. I believe it was on this forum I found the link a long time ago, and I'd be really greatful if anyone could help. Thanks in advance!

Why not play it in an emulator? Wasn't there a rerecording-plugin for some psx-emu. Wouldn't that help?

It seems everyone get this error in Famtasia, several people have tried but everyone got stuck where you are, I don't think there is a way to continue from there...

Perhaps you can use the warp to level 3 instead?

To get back a little more to topic, I think the information in v4 of MFrieds SMB run is more than sufficient for people to understand how the movies are made. The problem is that people are too lazy to check things up berfore getting an opininon about it. Personally I make my movies for those people that know the differences between timeattacks and speedruns. If other people who see it thinks its a real speedrun, and later get dissapointed or angry when they learn that it's not. It's their problem, 'cause the information they need is right there in the movie! It's a work of art, like any other real movie (real as in Hollywood movies) and it just uses another medium to show what the creator wants to show. SuperStringyAfroMan9:
To me, what these people are doing is a waste of their time. While they spend hours perfecting save states, they could easily be using those hours to actually improve their gaming skills, making them into actual gamers, or doing something else, like going out for some exercise or asking a woman out to the movies. Instead, these people sit in front of their monitors for hours, stealing the respect that others have earned.
Haha, this made my day :D Speedrunners are really cool people, that instead of sitting in front of monitors, goes out to see girls. Wow... if only I where a speedrunner :(

Flashback and Out of this world EDIT: Shadowrun (I would really like to see this, although it involves some leveling up and money collecting...)

I'm currently working on a run of it on Genesis. I think they are the same game basically.

I'm currently making runs for Alladin and Lion King. Hopefully they will be finished in a few days.

Yeah, looks great. Except it could be bothersome to change the game specific text for each game. It would be easier if you could put that on its own "page".

I'd prefer a disclaimer before the game starts. It takes up too much space from the game as it is now methinks...

Yeah, seems nice. Something I would like to see is some kind of profile for each movie creator. Where you can see the runs he's done among other things. Maybe a system where a group of members can post news and artícles, so that Bisqwit don't have to do all the updating. Also, there should be some way that you can submit a fmv. And it is put in this large archive, where you can rate and vote for which videos to be captured to .avi If there is any way I can help too, I would gladly help if I have the time.

Yeah, you can send all your traffic through a proxy, but that's usually very slow. If you are afraid of RIAA or something else, i found this. It's called PeerGuardian and is supposed to block certain adresses. Dunno if it works really.

Why do you need anonymity? :D I don't think there is a client that can do that, since they are only... "frontends" for the bittorrent program itself.

It's a flash adventure game that has been circling around. The video isn't really interesting since he exploits the flash movie sequences. He really doesnt solve it, just show the ending very fast :D

Well, you could always try capturing with Fraps. I'm not really sure if it works with an emulator, but maybe it's worth a shot?
