Sorry I can't help you. How do you know his run is 37 frames faster in stage 6? It's just a video, I can't identify it's faster or slower, unless you have the fcm file. I think it's not worth redoing. Anyway, I'd like to vote yes on your new submission (redo or not). It's a big improvement and quite interesting.

Impressive run. However, the part of final boss is too... cunning. I would rather you beat the boss. I like a shorter movie more, but not a shorter movie file.

Watched, cool. A minor mistake you made: walking is slower on slanted surfaces, so you should jump at the beginning. I still like you continue, keep doing.

arkiandruski, can you upload your WIP? The run would be complicated, I suggest you examine glitches and make a test run first. I'd like to see a crazy glitch run.

Actually I think auto-scrolling games don't suit for speedrun. But the WIP looks much better, level 2 goes quite smooth although there is still some lag. I hope your run will be wonderful as morimoto's NES version, good luck Cpadolf. No one like Parodius games? Which are more interesting than Gradius.

He hasn't gone into save rooms, do you mean warp rooms (yellow in map)? Because it needs to explore them, otherwise you can't warp there.

9 months bump. Comicalflop told me something about Maxim full-run. I think it's not a simple job, hard to choose a route. The test route I've made, I'm not sure it's the best. I'm working on other game recently, my friend ljffdb2 has made a test run for my route. Looks not bad, just a little sloppy, movement can be improved. It also shows something nice, such as luck manipulating on Death fight. Any opinion?

Well, I finished my old WIP, normal route, no scroll abuse glitch. Enjoy if you can, though it needs improvement. I'll try to make a glitch run. Thanks gocha for sharing tricks.

Cool glitch! You had much shortened the though. Can't the glitch work in stage 1 and 2? Or it's not useful in these stages? Death in some stages is timesaver, so I had played lottery and gotten much money to buy lives. But the glitch so magical that you need not to buy something, include pass (and dictionary?). So do you think that it's necessary to play lottery? I think U version is better, because the published movie was made by it, and the forum rule tell us that we should use U version. :)
