Hehe more jumping then your average Mario game it seems. :)
-Warpless
-Uses no passwords
-Takes damage to save time
-Doesn't do extra things (ex:saving maidens) for a better ending.
This game makes a intresting time attack because of it's difficulty.
There aren't that many enemy's that can boost you in this game. I think I did make good use of the ones that do though. (pikemen and the big armored guy with the sword.)
I have slightly over 8000 rerecords because of the fact some situations were a pain to deal with. Some of them might look easy, but infact it took alot of rerecording to get it right (mainly in level 6)
I also made sure to incorperate many back flips in situations when they would need to be used.

Phil: Do you know that using whip on ground makes the hero to stop advancing?
There's a place that you're waiting a pikeman to fall back. Why? You have a boomerang so I don't understand why you don't charge.
OgreSlayeR: I'm cancelling this. Dan is already beating me so far, so his will be a lot better.

I voted yes. However, I did see some things in the movie that could've been better. There were some inefficient jumps and some whips that had no purpose/necessity. I also don't think that the maidens are out of your way at all (the upper route is faster), so why not get them? Finally, some of the boss fights could've been done better. In the midst of our semi-competition, dan and I found some ways to kill bosses a lot faster than you had. edit: there was a pretty big mistake in the 4th level. where you pass all of the footmen: instead of going to the lower level and having the swordsman launch you up, you couldve been launched by a pikeman on the first screen. here is a rough idea of what im talking about: here Despite these few grievances, though, it was a good movie.

if there are so many consistent mistakes, even if they're small ones, maybe we shoudl wait until a video is made combining your three strategies.

I voted no because my version will be better :P I have just finished level 2, and am currently 464 frames (7.7 seconds) faster than this movie. However, I will be getting the best ending, so we will wait until mine is finished to see which is the better movie I guess.

I believe that any run of this game should get the best ending with both rescues, unless some extraordinary glitch is exploited saving many minutes.
