Nach: I was surprised as to how good this is. I actually would like to publish this, but it doesn't complete the whole game. On the other hand, I don't know to what extent TASing is really noticeable for this game, nor are the votes for this that good. I think this is a very strong candidate for gruefood delight.

How can you call this "No Jumps" if Mario is clearly jumping during the cutscenes?

This should be obsoleted by an NES or arcade run.
When TAS does Quake 1, SDA will declare war. The Prince doth arrive he doth please.

Poor jump man isn't allowed to jump :( Also, I don't think this is possible in the nes or arcade versions, but if it were, that would certainly be cause for obsoletion (being more impressive and a better version of hte game)
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects

The first stage is quite impressive, given how you're dodging barrels hanging onto broken ladders. I can't say this should be published, but it's quite a nice demo. ... Also, this game needs a good TAS. I know efforts have fizzled somewhat over the years.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

>>... Also, this game needs a good TAS. I know efforts have fizzled somewhat over the years. There is an incredible one on nicovideo. It was probably linked in the topic for this game. I'm too lazy to go find it.

Thanks for the encode, Patryk1023! I thought this was pretty impressive, and a good idea. It reminds me of Brandon's Minimum Presses TASes. I don't know what to vote.

Is that actually the end of the game? Or did you decide to play only that part?

He did only this part you see. He said "he did the first 4 levels without pressing A to jump".

This game has something like 109 levels.
