-Emulator used was FCEU-0.98.12-blip patched version.
-warps or passwords are not used
-only kind of programming abuse is when trying to lure the enemy truck to destroy itself on the qualifying rounds
-damage is taken on qualifying rounds and death is used to make the enemy follow to it's death (thus to lose it's money)
-goals are to finish as fast as possible while trying to bankrupt as many enemy trucks as possible on the way through, on the side-view races goal is not to take damage at all (which doesn't seem to be possible mut it's tried hard)
-Game is a monster truck racing game trough the USA where you drive from point to point on the US map between different races.
-Game was pretty exhausting to record while playing the side-scrolling races frame-by-frame trying to find as fast as possible ways (to change the gear or not and when to let the engine cool down by slowing down a bit, this was required to take as less damage as possible). 0% damage seems to impossible on the side-view races, on hill climb you can't seem to finish without taking damage to the tyres. The rerecord count is low but don't judge this by that, watch it first :)
All kinds of feedback would be nice. After all I'm a beginner at these and I know that there are some flaws. So tell me (on the forums) that is this anything like it should be, is there any idea at making a re-run. Those qualifying rounds are just pretty hard to control because it scrolls pretty weirdly.

I voted NO on this run because I felt it was too inacurate. I remember how fun it was to play this game though, and I know it's very hard at some points. But I think you could eleminate your opponents even earlier and take better routs, if it matters?

The tractor pulling and hill and such scenes were quite obvious - as expected (thus, nothing interesting, although nothing bad). The overhead levels were boring. There was nothing impressive or interesting in them. There was no goal, and there was absolutely no "wow" in them. Therefore, I vote "no".

Yeap, this is what I felt also when making/after making this run, but I wanted to give it a try. As I said it's quite straighttrough and not many points were it could amaze (any?). So I wanted some opinions.. This gives you the point that what the run could be, I thought of doing a re-run but there's no idea at giving the effort when it won't be anything special. As Bisqwit said in an old thread I found when searching for discussions about this game, this is more fun to play than to watch as a time attack :)

One thing that would be interesting is to see what does the computer do when its sixth reincarnation goes bankrupt. There are six computer players: growler, charger, crusher, terminator, smasher and viper.
