Okay, so I'm trying to run Desert Bus and I've had a weird number of issues. When I try to run it in Bizhawk, I get error messages and nothing happens. I figure Sega CD emulation isn't complete yet. I tried with the latest version of Gens, and with some difficulty, it worked but then while I'm driving the bus, it's playing the sounds from Mofo the Psychic Gorilla for some reason... What am I doing wrong? I checked out the Desert Bus TAS and it doesn't even mention what emulator it used.

Console: Sega Genesis downloads input Which means .gmv Which means Gens "Mostly because there was no reliable Sega CD recording" Which means it was Gens running Sega CD

Okay. So how do I prevent it from playing the wrong sounds?

It seems to just be playing audio tracks from the CD, I think. But the actual Sega CD wouldn't do that.

Old style CD based games (PS1, SegaCD, etc) generally had the data on track 1 and then raw audio on all other tracks. You could pop them in your standard CD player, skip to track 2 and then play all of the audio from the game.
