i don't know if anyone tested already but i think this game really has no cutscene skips by death,many custcenes have some frames in which you have control of the character like makar's enlightenment(he finds out he is a sage cutscene),but i killed myself inside the room on those frames twice and the cutscenes progressed normally,someone with TAS powers could try different timing(dying earlier probably).Btw,i used the switch items by pressing start glitch to pull bombs inside makar's cave.
TAS i'm interested: megaman series: mmbn1 all chips, mmx3 any% psx glitched fighting games with speed goals in general

Minor damage related stuff: First Sword: Normal Slash of any kind: 1 damage Jump Slash: 2 damage Spin Attack: 2 damage followed by 2 more damage shortly after if the enemy does not recoil. Master Sword: Normal Slash of any kind: 2 damage Jump Slash: 4 damage Parry Attack: 4 damage Spin Attack: 4 damage (maybe followed by 4 more damage shortly after if the enemy does not recoil? -- I hadn't found an enemy that didn't recoil) Bombs: 4 damage Bow: 2 damage Boomerang/Hookshot: It depends what you are hitting. Skull Hammer: 4 damage (swing/smash/jump) Gohma has 10 health, once she gets to 5 or below, she will recoil. Molgera has 12 health and all attacks seem to do one damage. (Spin attack is 1 damage twice here still if I recall correctly.) Moblins have 10 health Regular Knights have 15 health on the armor and 10 on themselves once their armor is off. I haven't really found anything particularly useful to do with this knowledge yet.

souped up spin attack destroys knight's armor cuz it hits for 8+8?intredasting...lol for the bow hitting harder than the first sword.

Saves about 20 seconds on J. Maybe be possible on U with a well timed jumpslash, though I doubt it because of the way that it fades out into black on J. U requires you to hit the barrier, J requires you to get close. Link to video

I didn't need nearly as much speed. Iirc correctly, it was about 1/6 the speed.

I'm not sure on the exact amount, but it's much faster than going the normal route past the moblins.

That is indeed a nice WIP. I don't suppose you could have wasted your hearts faster by getting hit by the ships' bomb cannons? The lightning stun just seems to have such a long invincibility time..

The cannons only do 1/4th heart, so it is slower.

I'm not quite sure what you are talking about. During the swim it turns gray because I go through a big octo area.

Yeah, there is a big octo that is there. They don't appear if you aren't in KoRL, but you can see the gulls that are there. That's not an error.
